There is a possibility that the two teams have worked something out and aren't announcing until trade day. You know the NFL likes to get all the mileage out of the draft that it can and would like for their to be intrigue right up until draft.

There is also a possibility I am full of crap. :noidea:

A QB needy team will suck up Murray, Haskins & Lock before our pick. I see AZ, Denver and Miami for sure taking QB's. The Giants may even jump into the mix as well. I hope all 3 or even 4 QB's go before our pick. Only means a really good player falls to us. (Hopefully Burns)

Wow..a lot of new threads since I was last here. This has got to be the very best, most active team centered forum on the hoop!!

Forget Rosen, if he's traded he'll go to the Chargers, NYG, Miami, or my prediction NO ONE! Arizona will keep Rosen and ride or die with him because defense is the greater need for them. That said, here's what's going to happen on draft day.

With the first pick in the 2019 NFL draft, the Arizona Cardinals select...Nick Bosa, DE, Ohio State!

After that all hell breaks loose as teams scramble to make moves to get the second or third pick from S.F or the NYJ. Although we won't be one of them, look for Washington's renewed interest in moving up to get either Haskins or Murray, whichever of the two not selected by the initial move.

i think haskins will drop to us , if not i pick stidum in round 3

Yeah but don't you believe that there's going to be considerable positioning to get Haskins much earlier. What did I miss about this guy in my absence? Did his stock fall or is currently falling? (I'm catching up on reading all posts since I've been away...just my epistemophilic nature kicking in!)

Naw, I did my own evaluation and for now I'll trust that. Now if he does happen to fall to 15, IYO, do they take him or also pass?

I heard somewhere that his stock has fallen to the 4th best QB. Can't remember where I heard it or that I even believe it. I

Let me ask you guys (and lady) this...Arizona selected Josh Rosen #10 overall a year ago correct? Well, for all of the prognosticators who believe that a 3rd rounder or anything less than or equivalent to the #10 pick this year in return should be enough to get him, how will the Cardinals justify the wasted pick from a season ago and sell the same to their fans?

They will sell it by saying Rosen is a bust and join the Murray bandwagon. Rosen didn’t look good year one and fans are stupid.

Interesting! I believe that Murray and Haskins are head and shoulders above any of the rest of them. I'm not sure why Lock is in the conversation beyond desperation. In as much as who's the better of Haskins or Murray, to me it all depends on what team's are looking for. If they want another Mahomes type the Murray is the guy, the more classic stand tall in the pocket and deliver type then Haskins is the guy.

I am curious though, why Haskins over Murray from your perspective?

He's taller and had a better completion percentage than Murray.

Shefter reported on his podcast that the leading contenders for Rosen are the Giants, Dolphins, and Chargers. At the minimum the Chargers late 1st and the Giants and Dolphins 2nd round pick trumps our 2nd.

I am an admitted Cooley "mark" when it comes to player evaluation. He's been right too many times in the past. He has basically been saying for a month or two that Haskins is gonna be a bust.

It's looking like he might be there at 15
Cooley being down on him scares me.
