Thanks man, I noticed the ND Board has been pretty quiet recently, makes sense since there isn't much to talk about at the moment.

My favorite #2 of all time was Tom Clements. I think he is the most underrated QB in Notre Dame history. And I wish he had gotten the head coach position over Kelly.

He's got a special place in my heart cockles, too.

Wasn't just a great QB, but he also dated a girl in our neighborhood while I was a kid growing up. They had a basketball court in their driveway that we always played in and he would shoot hoops with us while waiting for his date to be ready when he came to pick her up. Great guy.

People forget what a great basketball player he was. He turned down a basketball scholarship offer from North Carolina to play quarterback at ND.
