Faried and Rivers was huge. They weren't title contenders before that when they had Melo and couldn't figure out how to replace the loss of Ariza and Mbah A Moute. They looked lost. But those two guys really clicked into place and unlocked that potential that they had last year when the almost beat the Warriors. Don't sleep on Danuel House either. He's giving them better minutes than James Ennis was early in the season as well.

With Portland surprisingly winning, we may be left with very little basketball after Tuesday.

There is a solid chance we have 2 basketball games from Wednesday thru Friday including no games on Friday.

Yea pretty crazy how one sided these are going

Anyone else hear "future Hall of FAMER Mark Gasol" last night?

Was stone sober, but could've sworn I heard that late in the game.

Solid chance this get to 10 with Milwaukee and Houston playing tomorrow

Do home teams have a losing record so far in the first round?

Seems close to that.

Not really.

Pretty significant gap between the top 4 in the East and the rest.

Rockets playing too well for Utah. GS is much better than LAC.

That leaves 2 potentially long series in the West. And OKC is screwing that up.

There's no way...

Maybe he thought Marc Gasol was actually Pau Gasol?

Funny really, because Marc Gasol has arguably had just as good a career individually. But those rings matter for HOF purposes.

I think Pau gets in and Marc doesn't.

Was watching with my Dad.

This is about exactly what we came up with. Lol

But I don't think they were all that close offensively personally. Marc only hit Pao's career average three times. And three time ASs don't usually get many votes.

Agreed.

Pau was defintely better offensively.

THen again, Marc was a lot better defensively, IMO.

Overall probably pretty close to wash minus the rings. Also the fact that offensive production tends to make an easier path to all star games and the HOF.

Marc prolly woulda been better off being 10-15 older.

Didn't know where to put this, but according to twitter Bill Simmons on a podcast just said:

1) Harden is the best player in the league
2) Rockets winning the Championship
3) KD is leaving for NY
4) Bob Myers is going to LA Lakers
5) Steph Curry not in his top 5 NBA players.

When did he become Skip Bayless?

Hot takes sell. But 2 is certainly possible and 3 is almost probable

Those are not nearly outlandish enough to put him on Skip's level. Or the new Skip - Cowhurd.

I didn't think any of them seemed too nuts. 4 seems least likely to me, but I don't follow Meyer's situation in GS.
