Name guys who either never played for your team, or who had stints that you wish could have lasted longer.

1. Randy Moss - The Vikings never should have traded him. We should have traded Daunte Culpepper following the 2004 season, not Moss. Culpepper would have been worth a king's ransom prior to his injury and his career collapsing in 2005, and every Vikings fan knew he wouldn't be the same without Randy Moss on the team. Moss on the other hand, proved he could still succeed at a very high level for another 5+ years when he went to New England with Belichick and Brady leading the team. It's entirely possible that the 2009 Favre year could have still happened, because he wanted to stick it to Green Bay and would definitely have still been willing to join the Vikings that year with Moss on the team, assuming they still hadn't found a franchise QB (highly unlikely that would have changed). That offense with prime Adrian Peterson and Favre still not totally washed up would have been ridiculous. Also wish his second stint could have resulted in him retiring a Viking, but that obviously didn't happen with Brad Childress running the team as it spiraled into the dirt.

2. Larry Fitzgerald - I respect his decision to stay in Arizona for his entire career, but would have loved to see them bring Larry home for a potential title run, even as late in his career as 2019. Guy was a class act and one of the GOAT's who doesn't get enough credit for his accomplishments compared to other all time greats, IMO.

An actual NFL quarterback any time between the years 2002 and 2016.

In all seriousness, Peyton Manning.

When he first became available, I was skeptical. He had just missed an entire season because of neck surgery.

But hindsight is 20 20.

If we could have put Manning on the 2012 Texans.....

I wish the Eagles drafted Warren Sapp instead of Mamula. We would have won a title in the early 2000’s

Now, I wish we had Zeke Elliot.

Oooh, the Eagles should have never let Reggie White go. He was going to stay and Norman Braman offered him NOTHING. Wish his partner in crime Jerome Brown didn’t die. He was gonna be a HOFer too.

Earl Thomas:

I wish and really thought things would go smoothly before this last season where both the negotiations and his injury threw everything off the rails. Earl is a HoF worthy FS and I thought he and Kam Chancellor would have been Seahawks/NFL legends (maybe still are) had it not been for injuries and the Thomas contract dispute.

I love the way Earl plays the game but I think his emotions and passion boil over to life off the field when it comes to things like perceived respect and the financial side of football. I hope he has a very successful finish to his career, I just wish it was all as a part of the Seahawks.

Longer stint: Joe Thomas. He went out fully healthy at the top of his game, but another 5 years would've been nice.

Any stint: Aaron Rodgers. Should've drafted him when GB did. He wouldn't have had to sit so long, and our mid-late 2000s teams would've actually accomplished something.

Peyton Manning. His career spanned our drought nicely. you can't overestimate how much an All Time great QB can help a team.

The player I would add today is Wentz, because I like to go on vacation and stop working in the Winter and so does he...

Steve Hutchinson. Seattle fully intended to resign him and Hutchinson was basically in tears in Holmgren's office, because of his shit agent and that poison pill.

Seattle's offense was simply not the same without Hutchinson who went to 3 more consecutive pro bowls with the Vikings before some injuries started catching up with him. Jones/Hutch formed one of the best LT/LG combos in the NFL... was so fun watching those guys maul basically everyone. Once Hutch left there was a GLARING hole at LG that was never filled and the run game (despite Shaun's injury - and he was a product of the OL) was never the same and Matt Hasselbeck quickly converted to Matt Mattressback with all the sacks/pressure he was taking.

But it would do you no good because Dallas is the only team to lose twice with the 1 seed in their first playoff game.

I wished the Patriots could have kept Chandler Jones. He makes plays. There isn’t anyone on the Patriots even close to him.

The player I wished we had was Marshall Faulk. I hoped he was going to fall to the Patriots at #4 in the 1994 draft. He went #2. We got Willie McGinest. Not too shabby. But I thought Marshall was the best RB I’d ever seen.

Jones seems to be even better with the Cards. Seems like the right move cause they went to two straight SB without him.

Is that true? I hadn't heard that

On your point, yeah and it's kind of why a guy like Wentz doesn't help a team. Even a bus driver knows the saddest thing in life is wasted talent
