If this report exonerated Trump as much as you (and he) say, he would have had it printed on mailers and sent to every person in the country without redactions of any kind. You and I are both old enough to know that a failure to have enough witnesses to testify to wrong doing does not preclude wrong doing has taken place.

you cant be that naive shark but i guess you dont know that its against the law to expose people whose ID needs protection (outing )

what we do have is a bunch of deep state dems committing a soft coup which i said 2 years ago

and again silence from mueler

Actually i pointed out Luke primarily because you and your fuherer have deemed these people the enemy.

I could have just as easily pointed out Malachi 3:5

So I will come to put you on trial. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, adulterers and perjurers, against those who defraud laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the fatherless, and deprive the foreigners among you of justice, but do not fear me,” says the Lord Almighty.

or 1 Kings 8:41-44

As for the foreigner who does not belong to your people Israel but has come from a distant land because of your name— for they will hear of your great name and your mighty hand and your outstretched arm—when they come and pray toward this temple, then hear from heaven, your dwelling place. Do whatever the foreigner asks of you, so that all the peoples of the earth may know your name and fear you, as do your own people Israel, and may know that this house I have built bears your Name.

Or a few other passages in the bible that would point out that the mindset some of the self professed Christians around here have towards immigrants.

But mainly I brought it up to point out the hypocrisy of the so called moral christian right when it comes to those they dont want around.

I have actually deemed them invaders. I have also said they are doing exactly what we would do in their shoes. I have actually pointed out ways to make it stop.

As for Malachi, we are not depriving foreigners of justice. If a crime is committed against them, they offender should be prosecuted. If we hire them, they should be paid.

As for kings, this was written to the Jews to further the kingdom of God and not turn people away from Jehovah.

We don’t want them around because it is unjust. We don’t want them around because we want to be able to continue helping the world to the extent no other country has ever done. But, you keep with your narrative.

Show me where I got it wrong. If you want to have intelligent discourse, say something intelligent.

Why do you think you have the right to decide what is intelligent or not? From my perspective, your posts are spectacularly ignorant.

You cant even interpret the Bible correctly, let alone stick to the lies you told in the past.

Economics degree my ass.

“I deemed the immigrants invaders.” Thats absolutely ridiculous.

My posts are backed up by facts. Just because we disagree, that alone doesn’t make your position ignorant. Look at Shark and Sty. They both back up their posts with actual evidence. I back up my posts with evidence. Intelligent discourse. You simply say stupid shit or copy and paste an article you likely didn’t read.

Show me the Biblical interpretation I got wrong. I would love to learn about it, sincerely. When I use the Bible, I actually read the passage within context and look at commentaries of others.

UH 1999.

What is ridiculous? Invader is defined as a person or group that invades a country, region, or other place. Invade is defined as enter in large numbers, especially with an intrusive s is what I mean by stupid shit you write. I use an actual definition and you put your fingers in your ears and scream like a child.

The Bible verse you chose, from Matthew, was not actually related to what I had posted before that. Go back and look for yourself, and when you find your mistake, make sure you tell me you’re sorry.

You “read your Bible in context,” is shorthand for, “I find links that already believe what I believe as validation for my opinions.” You have never - not once - shown the ability to rationally discuss a single great Democratic idea. Thus, you prove yourself to be an ignorant sycophant.

Your interpretation of invaders is absolutely ridiculous because of your overt implication. You lack the empathy to relate to the need for immigrants to flee their own countries by walking 1,000 miles or so to what they view as a greater opportunity to, oh lets say, not die, and thus you used an overly dramatic word like “invaders” to sensationalize your feeble points.

You have yet to prove you are capable of rational discussion, and since the republicans on here clearly need to be better informed from legitimate sources, I am happy to provide then for you.

You’re welcome, just like you’re welcome to not respond to what I post, and go on your merry ignorant way.

I chose one from Luke for you. Matthew was brought up by Shark I do believe.

Do you read the words of any book in context, or do you simply take sentences or sentence fragments for understanding? I highly suggest reading in context.

Actually, you find opinions that are like yours, but they also lack facts, just like your opinions.

Actually, I use the word invader for dramatic effect, but does it make the definition incorrect? Nope. They are by definition invaders. Is it possible to empathize more than to say they are doing what I would likely do in their situation? I have made that statement numerous times. Does that make the action just? Nope.

Unlike some, I don’t pound on the bias in an article because I simply look for facts and make my own decisions. That is called reason. Just because an article is bias, doesn’t mean it doesn’t have useful information. Facts don’t have bias.

As usual, you don’t respond with a single intelligent statement with a single fact...not one.

The problem with having to put things into context these days is... the context you get out of something will be totally different than what someone who has not had your life experiences will get out of it. Which is why, if I were a believer in organized religion I would still take the literal word as it takes both your and my subjective context out of what was written.

I miss the days when no meant no, yes meant yes, and when someone called an entire group of people rapists and animals, I did'nt need one of their fanboys to explain that what they said wasn't actually what they meant.

That is why you have to actually research what is written, especially in the translated word. I think we can both agree on that. The problem with the literal word is not everything is literal, and it is obvious that not everything is obvious.

As for Biblical context, I am referring to a passage. You can’t take a single sentence out of a sermon and not look at the context of what is said. You can say that about literally every speech in history. Try to do that with the Gettysburg Address and only look at literal words.

And I could research for years, and I doubt I would get the "context" that you did. The problem with putting things in context, is that the meaning you get will always be biased by your own personality and life experiences.

Actually, you won’t. Treat others as you would like to be treated does not mean to pretend an action is OK. It simply means to treat them with love and respect. If you actually read the Bible, like you would any other book, except the Koran, which is just a bunch of individual verses, then you would understand the verses of the Bible. Yes, I have read some of the Koran and it doesn’t read like a story. It reads as a bunch of individual statements.

Who said anything about pretending. Again Im not sure what scared the hell out of you. But when i hear do unto others. My first thought is, what would i do in that situation and how would I expect or rather want to be treated.

As for the reading of the bible, or the Quran, again I say your bias based on your own personal belief colors your opinion of both books.

Read both. One reads like a book. The other reads as individual sentences. Bias has nothing to do with it.

When the architects of our Republic wrote the magnificent. words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissary note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men-yes blaack men as well as white men...would be guaranteed the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Out of context, this sure sounds great for black men. You have to read the whole thing to understand the meaning of a few lines.

Toad, members of a differing demographic telling a certain other demographic what they want to hear is an extremely lucrative business in this country. I'm not sure that you'll get this but when there are people doing this for profit, it's called a "what's the matter master, we sick? mindset.

You mean the american values currently on display in California? Lets take a look that State and see how the illegal immigration (who, in general support themselves as per your mantra):

California is now filled with immigrants, approximately ten million, and the majority of them are illegal. Guess which state has the highest poverty rate in the country? Not Mississippi, New Mexico or West Virginia. It’s California – where nearly one out of five residents are living in poverty according to the U.S. Census Bureau. While California accounts for 12 percent of America’s population, it accounts for one-third of America’s welfare checks. California leads the country in food stamp use and has more people on welfare than most countries around the world.

Homelessness is exploding in California with tent encampments overrunning schools, businesses and neighborhoods and is now home to 22 percent of this nation’s homeless population. California leads the nation in debt while the total state and local debt exceeds $1.5 trillion. When you combine California’s share of federal debt it produces a debt-to-GDP ratio of 153 percent which is higher than the European Union Countries of Portugal, Italy, Greece and Spain, which are all now facing economic collapse and ruin.

The vehicle traffic conditions in California is suffocating, miserable and unlivable. The highways and infrastructure are crumbling and the public schools are an unmitigated disaster and has the highest per-pupil spending in America. The income taxes, business taxes, sales taxes and gasoline taxes are the highest in the nation. This is all a result of the enormous costs of illegal immigration.

It seems as though immigration isn’t always so grand and isn’t always a strength. Clearly, immigration in the wrong form does not lead to prosperity. California has now become almost unlivable as a majority of the middle class are fleeing in record numbers to places like Las Vegas. California offers a cautionary tale to the rest of the United States of what happens when you combine open borders and a pathetic welfare state.
Almost 40 percent of the current California population don’t even speak English and has now become a foreign state inside of America. It is now following the Mexican model, a population with a small sliver of super rich elites and everyone else dirt poor. The middle class has become extinct and the state is on an express train to hell. California has become a hellhole because of illegal immigration along with the diversity that it has created, all thanks to the many politicians who are totally responsible for these declining conditions.

So, Shark, when you say that we are afraid of the culture that these immigrants bring, you are right. But it has nothing to do with skin color. It has to do the becoming a country that is on a path to a welfare state, just a California. New York is not far behind. How is this a good thing?

The reality is that the immigration coming from the south Western border is a huge drain on our country, they do not support themselves, the Government has to step in. For which you and I pay dearly. So how much less a quality of life are you willing to accept to just let everyone in?

Here's what you were referring to, they factored in the cost of living in this instance which makes it an abstract stat similar to not factoring educational levels in the actual worse poverty states which would make them worse.

TRUE: California has the nation’s highest poverty rate ...

Give credit where it is due. It is the lowest overall unemployment in history. And as a result black people have seen a reduction in unemployment in the community.

1. That was an ancillary result of unemployment going down across the board.
2. Underemployment and income inequality are still major issues that Trump has no intention of addressing.

Historically, there was a time where "black" unemployment (I deplore the use of this word) was zero! So not really lower than anytime in history.

Just to be clear such statistical reports must be put into perspective,

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), black unemployment rates were at 12.7 percent in the wake of the Great Recession of 2008, right when Obama was elected. The black unemployment rate grew as high as 17 percent in 2010, but by 2016, the Obama administration had managed to lower it to seven percent.

Now, black unemployment rates are hovering around six percent, one percent lower than they were when Obama was in office, according to the BLS. The key variable to keep in mind for these numbers is what each president inherited: Obama inherited a massive unemployment rate as well as a struggling economy, and Trump inherited the lowest unemployment rates in over 10 years, as well as a thriving economy.

To be fair, Trump gets credit for not fucking up already good historical numbers or put another way a 1% drop in a rate already going down.

I never thought there was collusion but it sure looked like obstruction was in play. Hell his interview with Lester Holt when he admitted his firing of Comey was related to "the Russian thing" sure looks like it to me. But I'm not a lawyer. Still it's fair to question the summary from a hand picked Trump guy, a man who has spoken out about the investigation in the past.

I did get a kick out of the approval ratings not moving much after this summary was released. There are a whole lot of people in the middle, neither a huge supporter or a huge hater, and they appeared unmoved by Barr's summary. I think that's pretty telling.

From the jump I want to state that collusion is NOT a crime. It is the means by which people come to actually commit criminal acts. That said, I want to ask these question about there being no collusion.

What's it called when the campaign manager (Manafort) actually provides polling data to the Russians ( Konstantin Kilimnik) and “They also discussed the status of the Trump Campaign and Manafort’s strategy for winning Democratic votes in Midwestern states,” (the quote come directly from the Mueller report and Yes I've read it all)

There are many other examples of the same and if necessary I'll provide them as well, but for clarity, I want it known that the Mueller report is actually full of collusive activities by campaign members.
