Boise State adds a late 2019 signee

No details on WHO this new 2019 recruit is............so far but in addition to the "Go Broncos" tweet from Bryan Harsin there is also this from Boise State's Darren Uscher (Boise State's Director of Recruiting & Player Personnel)

I sincerely HOPE that this new 2019 recruit is a defensive back who can play both cornerback and safety as Boise State - currently - has only 6 cornerbacks and 6 safeties slated to play for Boise State next fall.

Looks like what I had hoped for is true. The late 2019 signee is Khafari Buffalo a graduate transfer from FCS school the Citadel.

He has one year of eligibility remaining.

Buffalo played in 9 of 11 games last season for The Citadel football team and despite missing two games he finished last season 5th on the team in tackles with 38 total tackles (28 solo). He had only 1 interception last fall (and 1 TFL) but he led his team with 6 pass breakups and 7 pass deflections. The next closest total last fall for Citadel was 4 pass breakups and 5 pass deflections (by two separate individuals) - and again he did not play in all 11 games last fall.

Khafari Buffalo was listed on The Citadel's roster at 6' 2" 190 lbs which lead me to believe that he played Safety rather than Cornerback. However he was listed on their Depth Chart as one of the two starting Cornerbacks.
