I'd love to see Carr on an even remotely coherent team. He's had shit at basically every skill position for the last two years in Oakland, and he played behind a worse OL in terms of pass pro than Dak did.

The Carr thing baffled me to be honest. I thought he was on par to become an elite QB. Looking at his stats he may not be that far off but who knows. His numbers are actually pretty good with the exception of TD passes. In that aspect he is horrendous. To throw only 19 TD's is just bad.

So Carr, who was dealing with a back injury, had a 31 year old RB with hardly any tread left on the tires, Amari Cooper who was battling multiple injuries through the season, and two other journeymen who have never been anything but average to that point in their careers. Spot on, dude.
Just admit you hate Dak or think he sucks or whatever it is. But stop making up things and continuing this constant run of cherry picked stats and excuses and trying to belittle all the good and highlight all the bad. Its just your agenda at this point

No disagreement there, but he's at least shown the propensity to put up big numbers. Also, dealing with a back injury fucking sucks, and that's taken a toll on Carr.

Good lord, take a step back from the ledge. I'm so sorry that someone out there isn't overly impressed with your savior in Dallas. I have no strong feeling towards the guy from a personal standpoint other than I think he's a good guy as a person. You, however, need to take a few deep breaths or go outside and cool off. I've never seen someone lose their shit this much just because an objective outsider gave their input.

I haven't cherry picked shit. I've prefaced everything I've said with something to back it up. It hasn't been about highlighting or belittling, it's about looking at things as a whole. You keep making up excuses without acknowledging that EVERY team out there has shortcomings to deal with in one way or another. There are no perfect offenses, top to bottom. Shit, the Super Bowl was won by a team with arguably the best QB of all-time completing 60% of his passes with 0 TDs and 1 INT. It just is what it is. But if you want to keep pounding your fist about Dak having the worst of everything around him and having to overcome everything, just stop responding already because it's getting pathetic.

Take a step back from the ledge? Go outside and cool off? Are you a mental patient? You again keep acting as if I'm riled. Why is that always internet move #1 from people who can't prove their point as if portraying someone else as upset strengthens their BS that they are spewing. I'm sorry to have to tell you, but saying it doesn't make it true. it just comes off as dopey. I can guarantee you I'm not riled whatsoever. You however have started your last two posts with "Good Lord" and "Jesus Christ" so I think you may need to look in the mirror. Review your posts and mine and see who looks upset.

I'm just calling you out for what your posts say you are. Pretend it's not true but the proof is in your 3,000 posts on this thread disparaging Dak who you should have no concern over whatsoever. But you keep attacking him for a reason that seems to be based on nothing but agenda. Just admit you don't like him and we'll move on. Until then I'll prove the BS you spew is nothing but just that. But stop with the drama queen comments like I'm upset. I don't think I've ever interacted with you until the last week or so, so why would I care what you say? This is a message board. Say something dumb and wrong that I know about because unlike you I watch the games and I'll call you out on it. That's how message boards work. So grow up a little and stop feeling so threatened and own your obvious agenda.

sheesh you are a baby. Want me to kiss your boo boo too :noidea:

Yes, that 10 sentence paragraph and subsequent name-calling certainly shows you aren't riled.

You haven't proven anything. Literally nothing you've said proves he's anything but an AVERAGE quarterback (again, I know the word "mediocre" gets you all pissy). I've never seen someone go this far off the deep end because someone said their QB, who by basically all metrics is very AVERAGE, doesn't deserve to be paid like an elite QB. That was my stance to start, and that remains my stance. Will he get paid like an elite QB? Very possible. He's young, healthy, and has a chance to rebound this year. As I've said multiple times to multiple posters, if he comes in and improves and shows that he more of a big-time playmaker as opposed to being a game manager who can make a big play here and there, he should probably get paid in that $28m range. However, if he comes in again putting up numbers more in line with the middle of the pack like the last 2 years, he simply doesn't deserve it.

That's my point, and that's been my point this whole time. If you still want to charge back and insult me and get riled up, be my guest.

Looks like Dak is about to get his $30M or so per year. Hope he is worth it because that is a lot of cap space...

Who will they sign to play QB? I assume this means Dak is taking over for Zeke at RB?

I guess Zeke? He's too fat to play RB and it doesn't matter who the Cowboy QB is because it's all the OL :thumb:

Living there and being a Dallas fan, if Rodgers can grab 35 mill a year, Dak deserves 40 mill

This is where you really have to trust the scouts and draft well finding gems that can play well on those rookie contracts.

Only problem is he is the baby seal and I have a club that makes Babe Ruth look like a toothpick

Very true. Luckily that is exactly what Dallas has excelled at the last half dozen or so years. Where they worry me a little is being a little too loyal to their own and not letting go of some players that are no longer worth their contracts or their playing time. But, I feel more confident in them at this than I did a few years back and with all of their cap space I suspect they will do OK

It's a shame his offensive line is deteriorating just as they commit all that money to him.:heh:
