No fight at all. Hopefully this serves as a wake up call to get that team more passionate again. After last year’s exit the writing was on the wall to make changes, but they didn’t. And here they are a year later looking in the same mirror.
I'm hoping this embarrassment lights a fire for next year. Kessel is probably gone, I wouldn't put it past Rutherford to deal Hornqvist also (I hope and pray he doesn't, but?) and get rid of that WORTHLESS Simon too!

Tom Brady's Patriots will face Ben Roethlisberger's Steelers for the fifth consecutive season in 2019. That's what we know. We won't know when the only franchises with six Super Bowl rings will face-off until the NFL's regular season schedules are released Wednesday night at 8 p.m. EST.

It does appear, however, that there is a very good chance that the two winningest franchises over the past two decades will face off in Week 1. Several reports surfaced on Wednesday morning indicating that New England will host Pittsburgh on Sunday Night Football when the NFL kicks off their 100th regular season. This would mark the third time the Steelers would face the Patriots in Week 1 following a New England Super Bowl victory. New England started their 2001 and 2014 title defenses with victories over the Steelers.

Several of New England's 2019 prime time games were leaked by the media on Wednesday morning, less than 12 hours before the official release of this year's schedules.

Kessel and Hornqvist have value. Simon is nothing more than minor league filler doubt he will get much in return.
They will take a discounted return for Kessel if a team is willing to take on a horrible defensive contract.

I just saw that report and is like really week 1. I guess they didn't realize the Steelers sucked this last season and expect them to be good?

Look at the positive Gronk should still be retired then.

Doesn't matter, whatever scrub tight end the Pats happen to throw out there is likely to go for 180 yds and 2 tds, since one of the key components of Tomlin's pass defense somehow appears to always involve not covering the tight end at all....

Since a lot of media / fans are now jumping on the Browns bandwagon, I hope the Steelers not only sweep them, but stomp a mud hole in them :mad2:

Let them have their offseason hype.. I’m not buying. Dangerous team but that coaching staff doesn’t inspire confidence. And their schedule isn’t favorable. All of their toughest games this season are on the road. That’s a tough feat for a new coaching staff.

I actually was on the ESPN boards for their final 3 months, watching it die.
Been a long time but don’t know if I remember you from there. ATL, bsanko, Misko, and a few others are about the only ones I remember. Well there was BurghSouth, but I only remember him for the wrong reasons (being one of the biggest dipshits I’ve ever met on a forum).

I doubt you would have even noticed me on ESPN at the end there. I wasn't very controversial there, except for my eternal battle to differentiate 'Great' FROM "Best". It was interesting to watch the difference between the ending of ESPN with it's pre announced demise, with CBS, who just pulled the plug one day.

ESPN deserved it’s ending. It was nothing but a troll’s paradise. Mods couldn’t reel it in.

Interesting to know, but from an outsider (being new there) it was fascinating to see everyone scurrying around saying, "What are we going to do now? where are we going to go?"
