I think MN will be improved this year and Pitino should remain. With 4 open scholarships, I wouldn't be opposed to a JUCO or Transfer for spot to help balance class

My biggest gripe with Pitino has been roster management

After last season, I could see why some recruits might hesitate to commit to Minnesota before seeing how this season plays out. Now that we are a Top 50 ranked team like we could have been last year(minus the injuries), recruits might be more open to coming on board. If we could get an early commit from Hurt, that would help a lot as well.

Pretty ugly win tonight. Only scoring 31 pts in the 1st half against the likes of Mt St Mary's? Not too impressive. Missed the 1st quarter, but recorded the rest, will have to rewatch it and pay closer attention.

Watching the BTN commentators and their asking "what does X have to do to win the B1G", got me thinking, what would the Gopher's need to do in order to win the Conf?

Curry has to play and contribute in a significant way. Murphy has to avoid foul trouble. IW has to focus first and foremost on distributing the ball before shooting, Coffey needs to continue maturing and improving and contributing more, Dupree needs to be consistent, the frosh need to grow and improve and contribute and the entire team needs to shoot better. Seems like I am asking for a lot. But is that really asking for too much?

They need to cut down on turnovers in conference play. Take care of the ball better than they have, and they should be able to be in the thick of it.

and shoot better than 20% from 3. They don't need to be a high volume 3 team, but they need better results

would be nice to get some positive momentum with recruiting.

I wouldn't be surprised if Washington and Hurt transfer out, adding two more spots. I hope Pitino picks up transfer/juco eligible right away

Rumor is he wants to go Wisconsin, but they haven't offered. They may offer him as PWO and it'll be interesting if he turns down scholarship from us for PWO from them.

That's just as well. He never got anywhere close to his potential. Even a walk-on would be an improvement over him.

Amir has declared his intent to enter the draft. When it's all said and done, I suspect he'll be back in maroon and gold next year. I can't see a team drafting him in the first round.

Same here, if he gets a first round grade, he should go. But I think he'll be back.

Visited us last month, has a visit soon with Wichita State. Rumors i heard he wanted to commit to MN in march, but family wanted him to finish his visits, especially with his hometown school (wichita state).
