2019 Sooner Football thoughts?

Me, I expect some drop off in offensive power. Losing a chunk of the O Line, either Kendall or Rattler for QB. One is a true freshman that will not have a full grasp of Riley's offense in his first year and I have been less than impressed with Kendall as of yet (I get a Landry Jones vibe off him). Hopefully, there will be a good pick up in power on the defense but, we will see.

Problem games/teams.

TexASS - Tom Herman is getting them all riled up.

UCLA - Chip had a very young team in 2018 and that freshman QB is the real deal. I expect them to be much better in 2019.

Maybe trouble...

Is anyone else hearing about a possibility of kyler coming back?

At first I didnt give it much credit, but there seems to be some smoke here.

Kendall>Mordecai>Rattler

Rattler is an ee and will only see the field is shtf.

No drop off, more fire power. A healthy Sermon and Brooks, and more WR firepower was needed. Lamb will be ready for his professional resume season. The three 5* freshman will push, if not out right start by Texas. OU had Grant & Lamb and the Rambo showed some flash. With the added WR threat, teams will not be able to double team. There's no team in the Big XII that has four or five lockdown cover corners or safeties that will stop Haselwood, Lamb, Rambo, Calcaterra, Bridges, Wease, Robinson, Morris...the list is deep. Yes, there will be growing pains on the offensive line, but Coach B has been a magician at getting guys ready.

I have no idea why people keep overlooking Kendal, he's a baller. I like what I saw from Mordecai as well.

If OU can improve on defensive thirddown coversions, and increase their ability to getting at least one turnover a game, #8 is arriving in Norman soon.

I'm not sold on Kendall. I won't be surprised if Mordecai wins the starting job.

I was thinking much the same from what little I have seen both play. Mordecai seems to have more poise in the pocket and a more accurate arm.

Thoughts mid spring?

I am hearing from people that have watched practice that Mordecai is not to be overlooked.

OL is BEEG! hard for the defense to deal with once contact is made.

The 3 WR's are the real deal.

The defense is going to have to stop someone before I will be a believer.

My main concern now is still the defense. Just too big of a question mark. That said, the O line is still a close second.

The interior of hayes, Humphrey, and Robinson will be as good of a starting point as you could want. It's like they have to have some unnecessary roughness calls on their resume for Bedenbaugh to recruit them.
