Wow fuckin' pathetic. Cut this clown NOW. And cut your hair you cheeky faggot.

Nice job douche... way to walk it loaded and give a free win to the Sox. 3 fuckin' games... we haven't been able to close out a MULTI run lead against the Sox... 3 games in a row. Absolutely fuckin' ridiculous.

God: "Shark, why the fuck do you care? You don't even know 90% of the roster."
Shark: "Oh... right. *chugs alcohol* K we're good."
God: "Thanks, now stfu."
Shark: "K"

Well this is the convo you are going to have all year though. Pitching is the Achilles of this team. No top end starters, no real bullpen arms except Strickland and he’s hurt. That’s why this season is just drinking a beer and watching the team and saying damn there is potential. Be happy with wins and happy that they lose because there isn’t a ton of big league talent on the pitching staff.

"No stink in the pink!"

I know we should be tanking, but I can't help but root for these nobodies to beat teams like the Red Sox.

Went to the game today and it was so satisfying to see all those smug bandwagon fans get shut the fuck up for a series. A whole group of kids behind me who had no idea the Red Sox sucked for the better part of a century had me laughing in their faces when a tanking M's team rocked their starter yet again.

We can blow games all season, but embarrassing Boston and Toronto in the Pink will be the highlights of this year.

5-1 feels so good. I know the downfall is going to happen soon but DAMN can this team hit the ball

The one thing that really jumps out to me the 1st 6 games of the season is that it appears Dipoto has sacrificed a lot of the pitching for hitting. I’d be very cautious about drawing conclusions thru 6 games though, but these guys have the potential to smash baseballs and can hit.

Not entirely sure I like this formula but as long as they put up a lot of runs, oh well. A sparking offense will probably bring people to the ballpark.

I was very convinced it was a “rebuild” but it’s more like a “re-tool” and he may bring in pitching help in the summer.

Yeah offense has been fun to watch but our weakness at pitching, mainly bullpen, will eventually catch up to us if we can't figure that out...

I'm excited to see what Sheffield can give to us when he get's called up...

Not sure I'll ever call it T-mobile park though. Weak ass shit.
You know, this was my initial thought on the name change this offseason... but then at the ballpark on opening day, I started to think about it:

- The Mariners haven't won shit in their history.
- They haven't won shit in the stadium the 20 (?) years that it was called Safeco.

Maybe it was time for a change :noidea:

Really not a fan of the pink shit everywhere, but it isn't the end of the world.

Had to edit to add: They REALLY want everyone to call it "Magenta".... :L

I think the stadium will grow on people. One thing I do like is the brick layout behind home plate and they made the T-Mobile Park logo white as opposed to pink so it’s easier on the eyes. That’s actually cool.

The bullpen will be a big issue this year.

RIGHT!? And now we got 2 games against the mediocre Angels and 3 games against the terrible White Sox and we're 5-1!!! So when we're 5-6 heading to KC on the 8th we can all have an excuse to drink ourselves into oblivion on a week day.

Didn't know I needed an excuse to do that.

The bullpen is awful, but the rotation isn't that bad. If Marco and LeBlanc can replicate their 2018 seasons, Kikuchi pitches up to his potential and Leake remains consistent, the only glaring hole is the #5 spot and depth.

I've watched Mariners games my entire life and thought I was losing my mind for thinking the brick behind home plate was new. I like the look as well.

I use T-Mobile as my carrier and I like them a lot because I have free international data and I somehow manage to find myself out of the country probably half a dozen times a year so that's really nice to have. Apparently they'll also have specials for people who have T-Mobile as their carrier which will be nice for me.
