At this point it is getting ridiculous. If he's staying then come out and say so. If he's not then let the man go already.

If I were Miles right now I'd be questioning how much I really wanted to stay even if I was retained.

It didn’t happen yesterday because the team didn’t get back till yesterday so not surprising it didn’t happen yesterday. I did think was going to happen this morning or at least some time today. Seth Davis is a dumbass too

:agree:. exactly. if it doesn't happen today, then maybe I'd feel bad for Tim. For all we know, maybe he was let go and someone is actually keeping it quiet.

Hoiberg, 46, was born in Lincoln and is the grandson of Jerry Bush, who coached Nebraska from 1954-63. Hoiberg moved to Ames, Iowa, as a child and played at Iowa State before going on to a 10-year NBA career.

Hoiberg began his coaching career in 2010 when he was hired by his alma mater after serving in a front office role with the Minnesota Timberwolves. He went 16-16 in his first season with the Cyclones, then made four straight NCAA tournaments, advancing to the Sweet 16 in 2014. Iowa State won the Big 12 tournament in his final two seasons before he left for Chicago in 2015.

Hoiberg went 115-155 with the Bulls before being fired in December.

Miles was a good guy, i'm sad to see him go, but you can only hope for him to succeed so much before you just have to let it go. i certainly wish him well and hope he has success wherever he goes.

someone remind me again why we didn't fire him after 2016-17? was it because JPJ and Copeland were coming on? were there a bunch of injuries that year? i frankly don't remember it that much.

I'm certainly on record calling for his head then, and again in 2017-2018 after he finished 4th in a way-down Big 10 last season and then going one-and-done in both the Big 10 Tourney and NIT.

Lol. Funny how so many fans of opposing teams are saying it was stupid and he got screwed. Of course they want Miles and average Nebraska teams to stay around.
