Not sure, anything is possible.....I'm gone half a decade, come back only to see the Sawx and Patriots win titles....Ugh

Brutal. Even more brutal when both happen in the same year. Twice now in the last 15 years.

This will not stand!

So you only watch the playoffs when the Sox are in, eh?

Sample size is a bitch huh. Did you know blake swihart hit .373 in Aug 2015 with a .931 OPS? Can't wait for his hall of fame induction.

Let me know when Swihart yanks a 100 mph Andrew Miller fastball into the upper tank at YS in October.

oKthanks

Yankees will have to do something since the NY football teams won't be capable of changing that anytime soon.

Wow. You haven't gotten this excited on such a limited track record since you were telling us how Jesus Montero was the next johnny bench. Or was he the next Mike Piazza?

Neither. Blade'll tell you-he was supposed to be the next Edgar Martinez.

Bird is definitely my current binky, however.

Priority 1 is staying healthy enough to play 130-150 games. I'm biased (clearly) but he's not going to get in any type of groove going on the DL 3-4 times a season as has been his recent habit.

agreed. I feel like that's kept Eduardo Rodriguez from potentially breaking out.

Heard he was pretty pissed off, says he was told "we're going to carry a real outfielder instead of you"

Ouch

I would be too. Considering that spring he had, he should have been on the team.

He worked his ass off all spring to make the team. To play as good as he did and still not make the team must be super frustrating.

I think he's a great baserunner, great instincts. His performance with the bat on the major league level, despite having great springs and good Milb numbers, leaves a lot to be desired.

yea but now u got this guy:suds:

Yankees acquired OF Mike Tauchman from the Rockies for LHP Philip Diehl.
Tauchman, 28, has put up decent numbers in the minors, but hasn't hit a lick in his time in the big leagues with a career .153 average and .468 OPS over 69 plate appearances. He is a good defender, however, and it sounds like he could break camp as a backup outfielder with New York.
