Fyi, I've known @The Q for over 15 years, and he has never seen Duke win a close game that he did not think was a blatant gift from the refs.

I don’t think it was so much the refs as it was just crazy luck.

I also don’t think fans of consistently lucky teams really appreciate and acknowledge how lucky they are.

UCF just happens to blow a wide open alleyoop. Barrett just so happens to grab the luckiest offensive rebound of his career and make an easy layup. UCF just so happens to barely miss two game winners as the clock expires.

That’s Duke luck in a nutshell.

I just wanted to put Qs ranting about the refs in perspective.

He's probably my best friend on this board. Certainly the only one I've ever met in person. But he cant be objective when talking about the refs in close Duke games.

It was wn obvious charge on Zion.

There were 2 rebounding fouls, Incldunf a flagrant 1 (stupid rule, but it is) and Taylor was fouled more than Zion was on his runner at the end.

Compete garbage.

The only other teams who get all those calls are mich st and unc

Sucked out any excitement left in the tournaments for me

I'll say this for Duke. They provided some of the only drama in these whole four days. It sucked pretty bad, but next weeks games should be phenomenal.
