the only good news is 3 first rounders gives them some ammo to make a big deal.

It'll be interesting to see what they do.

The Kyrie comments about Brad's coaching make me think Kyrie is gone.

They want Anthony Davis as a Celtic and Kyrie to go to Albania.

In this draft, how valuable are 3 post-lottery picks? This draft doesn't look that deep.

Agreed. I’m not a fan.

But it does give them options.

Even if it’s just a move up to get their next good player.

Right now I want bol bol

He's intriguing and hard to predict where to slot him, given his time lost to injury. I want the Lakers to consider him too, along with Hunter if he slides, or maybe Stanford's Okpala, Texas Tech's Culver, etc.

I have to say that I am shocked that the Celtics will probably not get 50 wins. While I definitely had doubts that the team was going to be the juggernaut others predicted, I still expected them to be a 55 win team.

Everyone underestimated the effect of hayward.

Feeling a little better this last week. Hayward looking like old Hayward

I don't think that is true.

I think people overestimated the impact of Kyrie given that the kids don't play as well when he is on the court.

It's been an uneven, disappointing regular season...

... that being said, the C's are in pretty good shape for the postseason:
  • relatively healthy, with no major injuries
  • Hayward has slowly and steadily been playing better over the course of the season
  • They likely face Indiana sans Oladipo in round 1
  • They likely don't have to worry about a possible meeting with Toronto until the ECF's
Given the season, can't complain about where Boston is now. Time to flip the switch and make a serious run at the Finals.

The potential second round series with Milwaukee will be really interesting.

Might even be the most compelling series in the entire playoffs.

Yep.

I like Boston in that series... but it's close and could go either way.

I would be lying if I said I knew what to expect from any of the top East teams.

They all have serious questions to answer.

It's a 3 team race for the Finals... (Philly isn't in the discussion, IMO).

I'd rank them as follows... 1. Toronto, 2. Boston, 3. Milwaukee... but it's so close between them that it makes a very interesting argument... and, of couse, a great potential playoffs season.

I still wouldn't rule Philly out.

They have so much talent.

No doubt they have talent, no doubt...

... their play against the top teams in the Eastern Conference shows they're not ready, though.

Philly got a good draw in that they may not have to play Boston... so I guess there is hope... we'll see. I am pessimistic on them, though.

Everyone assumed he’d just be an all star again. Day 1.

They had no idea he’d have this kind of growing pains.

The current Sixers team has played about 4 games against the top eastern teams. 2 against the Bucks. 2 against the Celtics. They won 2 of them and lost 2 of them.

They likely would have lost that game Boston @ Philly if Baynes and Smart were still on the floor at the end.

Maybe. And they may have beaten the Bucks if Jimmy Butler had played.
