First round Oregon played a top 4 team from the Big Ten, not some mid major.

I know it’s been over 40 years since Beavis won a tournament game in hoops but you realize the brackets are made prior to the tournaments, right? Oregon can’t control if there are upsets in other games.

And Irvine is far from crappy. They went 31-5. They are a good squad

basketballs a dying sport, just like track-n-field…enjoy the free fall.

Yeah, try again. Baseball is the dying sport. And college baseball is really a third rate operation. I don’t think Oregon even offers their players full rides

suppose that's why Oregon got rid of baseball and then phil knight stepped in and resurrected that dying sport AGAIN about 10 years ago…

Pac 12 cares more about baseball than wrestling so Oregon played along with that. I’d be content if we didn’t have either sport. If Oregon really wanted to win in baseball they would at least start offering full scholarships. The truth is, Oregon just doesn’t care about their baseball team, they just want to field a team

Trying to explain to you how March Madness works after the first round.

i have forgotten more than you will ever know about CBB…

in all fairness, i love march madness... the last almost pure amateur sport left in college sports (baseball is the greatest IMO).

now go out and win this thing and become the 1st school to actually win the 1st NCAA CBB championship and the last school to win the NCAA CBB championship…now that would cement UO in history lore.

Yeah except this year won’t be the last Championship. UO doesn’t have enough to win a championship this year. With Bol maybe they had an outside chance. Without him, sweet 16 is about all I can see happening

where's the school spirit here in this statement?

NEXT MAN UP!

you boys are on an 8-0 win run and peaking at the right time, me beavz just caught UO twice this year at the right time is all.

btw: the ducks achilles heel this year is a shot blocking big man in the middle. Opponents should notice this, it is why my beavz torched you twice.

i'm pulling for the dam ducks to make it to the final 4, after that who knows.

Wooten didn’t even play when you played Oregon at MKA. That was the main reason OSU won

our shot blocker in middle is why we won, well that and tre tinkle draining 3-balls.

And your ability to get to the hoop with no rim protector. Allowed OSU to shoot over 50% from the field. Turnovers almost got Oregon back in that game even though they were shooting around 30%

@AlaskaGuy

wtf?

Huskies a +11.5 dawg against the tar daddies today?

what am i to expect today in this game my friend?
I took NC to cover easily.

UW has a fairly solid defense... at times. Lately they are slow to start on D and their offense is entirely schizophrenic at best. Dawgs will have some periods of holding NC and I doubt it's a blowout at halftime, but NC will pull away late and win by something near 20pts.

Ducks should cover theirs and if they face UVA in the next round their flaws should find them in a similar fate.

Just getting 3 teams in with what was a down year across the board was kind of a miracle. Ducks peaked at the right time but still lack deep offensive options, Huskies backed their way in and play way too many bad spells on both ends, and ASU was a bit more than consistently meh all year. But none were built for a deep tournament run.

It will be interesting to see what UW looks like once Hopkins gets his guys in there. I know people give Romar a hard time, and rightfully so, but the man could recruit. Hopkins didn’t have a complete rebuild when he took over. That said, it should be his program very soon
