Watched this today on Netflix. Pretty good movie. I was too young to have been a fan of them during the peak of their career but became a fan later on, so I was only familiar with a few of the major events in the 80s.

Nah man, I graduated in '94.

I was an 80's kid. In 3rd thru 5th grade, I rocked a jean jacket with a bunch of button pins of metal bands that I bought at a neighborhood garage sale.

Sixx and Mars wrote some amazing riffs. The intro to Kickstart My Heart is probably my favorite but Dr. Feelgood is up there too.

Finally saw this movie a few nights ago. I honestly thought it wasn't too, too bad. Admittedly, I never really payed a lot of attention to MC, other than playing a song or two in a cover band a long time ago.

Mick Mars is right up there with the creme de la creme as far as his ability to write and play catchy riffs goes.
