If you didn't hear, Buster Olney reporting Ichiro will retire after this game.

A hit and a win would be a really nice way to end his career.

Pretty much yeah and I’m happy he makes this decision. He wasn’t going to make it to the roster when they head back to the states. Rather him retire on his own accord than being cut.

Have to say pretty cool and for me a bit sad how things are unfolding.

Ichiro retires and passes the game onto the next generation of Japanese MLB players like Kikuchi - who’s making his MLB debut, all while in Japan where it all started for these two.

That was a terrible non-call on the 1-2 count. Look like a strike to me. Led to Kikuchi giving up a run.
