I think if they're trading their starter, and paying something like $5M to do it, I don't think they're waiting an extra year for TT. Rosen I can see.
If there trading for a starter they put themselves in a poor leverage situation.

Like I said....they have to have some plan set up to get a starter....either a guy in the league right now, or a trade in the draft that they believe will be enough to secure the guy they want.

Can you really trust Tannehill either? So I guess the Titans figure if we have these two we are most likely guaranteed 14 games.

Well it was between Tannehill a guy that led his team to the playoffs before getting hurt, or Blaine Gabbert, who can barely win a game. Tannehill is the lesser of the two evils there.
