I'll take some thin mints, samoas, and tagalongs........Players need to go door to door selling cookies to raise money for the league.

Aren't they in the playoffs as of today? He can't be too bright since he bought an NHL team that plays their home games in my backyard that can't compete.
He always takes the under for about 76 vcash , but rolls the over with about 58 he’s a ballerThis funding is bad news for @DJ and I!! We took the under on how long the league would last!!
wast gonna make uot 250 millWho's the blame for letting the AAF hang on the thread? The people who didnt attend the games. The same people who didnt attend games in the following cities... Memphis, Birmingham, and Phoenix.

Yep, new businesses are always tough at the start but not being able to make week 2 payroll indicates these guys have no idea what they're doing.
I'll go out on a limb and say this league will not make it to season 2.

Would you give this guy $2.50?
These new football leagues are all going to fail, they are all going to be seen as arena league or at best CFL type leagues. Why? Because a lot of football is built off tradition and history.
These new leagues are best to not try and become a rival to the NFL, they should start off embracing the new feel and change and promote it as such. But they need to invest some money into their product before they trot it out onto the TV screens and field. The AAF uniforms look like a cross between CFL uniforms, arena football uniforms and NFL All-star uniforms. It looks awful and cheap.
What's interesting though is there are markets willing to watch developmental football...I think San Antonio had a 20k+ gate, Memphis 10k...the NFL could be missing out on an opportunity...not so much to make money, but to develop player (and ref) prospects with NFL rules.
Barring a major injury, a guy on the PS is not really going to get enough reps in practice or camp to get on the field...a developmental league like this, a player can get reps in competition.
the AAF chairman is saying that a decision is going to be made in the next 2 days about what to do with the league and one of the options is to fold up shop
