In my school career I've had a lot of teachers I like but two were my favorites. My physics teacher was tough but challenging and has sadly passed away.

I had a history / social studies teacher for two years and he was great. Super tough but had very interesting classes that made us (most) work hard. I thought he was great. Recently I saw him on Facebook and he has grown into an angry Trump supporter. Not only a Trump supporter no matter what Trump did or was doing, but also posting nonsense stuff about other things. Stuff that could be easily dis-proven plus classics like unattractive women probably wouldn’t be sexually harassed. Very disappointing.

So a couple weeks ago I received a friend request from him. I wondered how long it would be before he un-friended me. 2 comments! He posted that he would pay a great sum to see Ocasio-Cortez debate a economics professor so everyone could see how stupid she is. I responded I’d like to see Trump debate a Jack Russell terrier and provided possible debate comments (No Bandit, I’m the good boy. I’m the good boy). That was it, unfriended.

More winning?

Last week the Tennessee Valley Authority voted to close the 49-year-old Paradise Fossil Unit 3 coal-fired generating plant in western Kentucky, citing operating costs, the need for repairs and “flat to declining” load. The board’s 5-2 vote came despite appeals from Trump to keep the plant and others like it open.

“Coal is an important part of our electricity generation mix and @TVAnews should give serious consideration to all factors before voting to close viable power plants, like Paradise #3 in Kentucky!” wrote Trump on Twitter in the days leading up to the vote.

Joining Trump in his calls to save the plant were Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell and the state’s governor, Matt Bevin, both Republicans. Both cited concerns for the surrounding community, including mines who count the facility as one of their primary buyers. The TVA said that 40 percent of the plant’s 130 employees are eligible for retirement and others will be offered other positions.

Agree 100% on all points.

We need age limits on the Presidency. You must be under 65 on the day you would take the oath. Enough with the fucking boomers and old people already.

For sure.

Plus, all the fuckwits will call him a communist and we all know how THAT will turn out!!

I like what Bernie stands for, but he is too old and an easy target for Repugs and their corporate donors to attack. Plus, when he eventually loses the nom his cronies will just stay home and pout and we'll get Trump again.
Don't think this will be the case this time unless Democrats have learned absolutely nothing from the despised centrist baggage-carrier they anointed in 2008 to be their nominee in 2016. Even "establishment" Dems are adopting more and more left-leaning positions and defending them, perhaps having finally learned that running away from those positions does them absolutely zero fucking favours (see congressional elections in 2010, 2012, 2014 & all elections in 2016).

Do they not see the irony in their fight to keep a TVA facility open while decrying social programs and "big government" as a matter of policy?

I don't like what is happening to this country I call home.
How would anybody think people just broke into Parliament and hung out in the cafeteria anyway? A large group just bypassed security and got some bagels? That shit's just blatant racism.

Could be wrong but the fact the identities of the people who reported this haven't been released makes me think this probably wasn't reported by opposition staffers.

What does this guy have to do to get banned from twitter? Are we going to wait for another bomb scare or more journalists to get shot up?
