Not happy to see him go, but it is time. Dude needs to step back if for no other reason than his own health.

Honestly, good for Boch to be able to go on a farewell tour this season. I'm glad this wasn't announced at the end of next season. He 100% deserves all the attention he'll get. Maybe it'll get the players a bit more motivated as well.

I'm also happy to see what direction the Giants go from here. Zaidi will be able to really hand-pick his new manager knowing that there will be a vacancy there and not feel like he's undercutting Bochy at the same time. He gets to spend a full season evaluating exactly what he wants instead of having to scramble.

Sounds like Boch is sticking with the organization afterwards too.

It will be a lot easier for Angry Boch to manage the shit out of the season if they can stop blowing saves. Please let a reliable closer step the fuck up.
