I love it...they walk off the plane and jump right in and looked good. Could never get behind having Brassard on the team. I wish Sheahan the best.

What are they? 2-3 in the last 5. Can't get out of their own zone...chasing pucks like 8 year olds on a soccer field.

bye bye playoffs...

First thing is Johnson better be the healthy scratch when Schultz comes back. He is bringing the play of Pettersson down or any player that is paired with him.

And the forwards on the ice with him.

When Malkin gets back, I really want to see a Guentzel-Crosby-Kessel top line. I just want to see if it would work as well as I imagine it would. Give Malkin Simon and Rust, Bjugstad with McCann and Hornqvist, and Pearson and Blueger flanking Cullen.

But mostly I need that top line.

I wonder how long before he is waived and buried at WBS. What sucks is the cap hit against them.
Seriously the only hope now is that a team will trade for him to reach the cap floor during the off season.

For some reason I see McCann working well with Malkin.

I also thought about the idea of McCann somewhere in the top six. He's got some top-six tools, if unrealized. Maybe Sid or Geno could bring out that first-round pick talent?

Is the current CBA rule that you pay half the salary for twice the duration if you release a player still under contract? Because honestly, I might be inclined to take that hit and just drop him.

A buyout might be the best option, then. Have $1 million in dead money for a bit is better than over $3 million in negative value money.
Now the question does GMJR swallow his pride and make this move?

Ebbs and flows. Nothing to worry about. Schultz and Geno will be back in the lineup soon, too.
Im not worried...I picked the Pens to NOT make the playoffs this year. Murray is down (shocker), pens incorporating 2 new players, Sully shuffling lines, Casey in goal, and on a roadie where they play Tampa and the hot Flyers...Im not worried.

Still in the shitter...3-7 in last 10. Fun fact noted on last nights broadcast...no D scoring goals but Letang, that POS.

Are they really missing Malkin???? That's scary if that's what causing this horrendous puck retrieval in their own zone and then playing chase the puck.

Have the Pens forgotten about a center drive??? Putrid performances.

WHeels on the bus are falling off, falling off, falling off..

What a mess. D is so putrid. Can they ever make a quick, easy, well spaced clear out of their own zone? I mean, when not on the power play...oh wait...

And their spacing is horrible.

Why isn't Riikola playing? Do they only think he can play with Maatta? I was hoping he'd be paired with Schultz. That would be fun and interesting at the very least.
