I kind of enjoy fucking with them. If I get a "warranty" call I tell them that I'll buy two of what ever they are selling if they can tell me which vehicle they are talking about.

The one trying to sell me a cruise I let them go through the entire script, taking all of the up sells. Then agree to pay on my American express platinum card. I start giving them the card number, then hang up on them on the last two numbers.

Yeah, it's a waste of time but it's not like I have anything going on.

Next thing I heard was a click as he hung up on me.

i hate how Robo-calls come from local numbers now. my wife gets a lot of calls from people, so it's hard not to pick up the phone. One thing i've started doing, I'll say "hello" and if the person doesn't immediately answer then i hang up. from my understanding/experience the robo-calls are automated to not give you a live person until after it's sure its connected, so i can usually hear someone start talking right as i'm hitting "off" on the phone.
