Which I've stated all along. If he's there, just take the guy and call it a day. The only scenario I can really see is if somehow Bosa really implodes/SF gets a ridiculous trade offer they can't refuse/etc.

At this point he can't 'implode', or can he?

Pulls a Reuben Foster at the combine with the attitude, or completely shreds his knee at his pro day.

Kyle Crabbs’ mock for the Draft Network does an interesting job of prioritizing needs for San Francisco. They go edge, safety and wide receiver in the first three rounds. They go corner in the fourth, interior defensive line in the sixth and offensive tackle in the seventh. Their fifth-round selection was traded to Detroit for guard Laken Tomlinson prior to the 2017 season.

Without knowing which FA's they'll sign, IMO 5 of these 6 positions make sense. I'd go LB instead of Safety, and i'd take NT late for interior defensive line

Great for click bait but, as always it should depend on how the draft breaks down

It can't hurt the Niners that Murray has declared to stick with football. It gives teams another QB to covet.

There was a lot of talented OL playing for the north team
Plenty to pick from on day 3
Nate Davis OG. impressed
Another guy I like for day 3 that impressed me during the sr bowl practices was No. Illinois OT Max Scharping
Looking foward to watching the big uglies

49ers go defense-heavy in 4-round Draft Wire Mock

I'd be fine with these guys but can't help wonder if we'll be better served with a SAM in round 3? I get we should take value and MAYBE this prospect they mocked in Round 3, is it? If he is then fine, but otherwise isn't there a SAM or even MLB with 'equal' value? There should still be college productive LB's that don't need as much "mentoring"?

All things being equal, prefer we increase the pressure by adding a SAM to Bosa. That helps ALL the DB's against the pass. By adding a MLB (even a SAM), that improves the front against run plays, again helping the DB's.

It wouldn't matter too much to me how the rest of the draft goes if the get Bosa at #2 pretty much gravy after that.

while i get the gist, we need ALL the help we can get. Plus, we need it now because this class would end the 'rebuild mode'.

I mean obviously I want them to hit on every pick but it wouldn't matter to me who they drafted after getting Bosa even if I thought they had greater needs.

The Niners need much more than just who ever they draft in the 1st round

Of course they do but if they get Bosa I don't care if they take two interior O-Linemen and a WR in rounds 2-4.

I'd rather see the O-linemen come latter in the draft

If the Niners are willing to burn their #2 for either OBJ or AB (and I hope to fuck they don't), I'd say screw that and just take DK Metcalf with that pick. Again....I'm not on board with getting a receiver @ #2, but Metcalf just made a lot of coin today.

Having said that, there really is gathering steam that the Cards are interested in Murray......literally gifting the Niners Nick Bosa. Now....pray to hell they don't overthink it and go all Josh Allen or some shit.....

so would I like rounds 3-6 but if they get Bosa then it wouldn't matter if they did game one earlier.

Of the pass rush guys who are the most mocked to SF @ 2, QW enhanced his stock whereas Bosa and Allen basically held their own.
