With Carmelo Anthony's career coming to the end of the road, would the Denver Nuggets, welcome the return of Melo, signing him for a vet's minimum contract for 1 year, to close out his career and give them some depth at the SF / PF position. What say you?

What if he wanted to sign a 1 day contract, appear in a game (final minute / 30 seconds) and retire the next day?
I have a friend who thought the Houston Rockets would be championship contenders this season - This belief came before the season started. "I disagree" was my response. You said what I was thinking a few minutes ago - I hope it doesn't scare you to bad that you are now thinking like meYes. They absolutely should do it.
That way I can quit worrying that the Lakers might sign him.
FIFYi'm gonna go ahead and take the liberty to speak on behalf of all Sane not only the Denver nuggets fans here, but also the fan of any team in the NBA and say:

"What makes you say that?" he asked - "They picked up Carmelo Anthony" he says
My response: "For starters, they lost Trevor Ariza - An excellent defender that can shoot, but Carmelo alone makes them worse"
His last response about a month ago "I see what you mean by Carmelo, I saw some things from him I didn't like - you were right"

Wouldn't be a good fit with Isaiah Thomas.
