Four game win streak currently. The last two wins were pretty incredible. The last four games/wins for the Boise State softball team were:
February 10th - Boise State defeated Northwestern State 2-1 at the Texas Classic in Austin, Texas
February 15th - Boise State defeated U.C. Riverside 7-2 in a rain-shortened 5 inning game in L.A. in their first game at the 2019 Stacy Winsberg Memorial tournament.
February 16th - Boise State defeated Loyola Marymount 9-8 in 10 innings (normal NCAA softball game is 7 innings). Boise State was leading 4-1 in the 7th inning but with two outs Loyola Marymount hit a three run home run to tie the game and send it into extra innings. Loyola Marymount got two more runs in the 8th inning but so did Boise State. So the score was tied 6-6 at that point. Neither team scored in the 9th. Then Loyola Marymount once again scored two more runs in the top of the 1st when Boise State scored one run in the 10th and then with 2 outs Cal transfer Brady Fillmore hit a double down the left field line and Boise State scored two more runs to win the game 9-8.
February 16th - Boise State - only 30 minutes after their 10 inning game vs. Loyola Marymount, played the host school Long Beach State. Long Beach State struck quickly by scoring 3 runs in the bottom of the first inning to lead 3-0. Boise State chipped away at that 3-0 lead by scoring 1 run in the 3rd inning and 2 runs in the 4th inning and 1 run in the 5th inning. The game was stopped after the 6th inning due to darkness with Boise State as the winner 4-3 over Long Beach State.
