Yes, the Browns, the team that famously passed on Wentz, Trubisky, Watson and Mahomes. I don’t think I’d use them for your argument.

I’m on the other side of the fence. Unless you think we are going to be bad next year (and by your other posts that doesn’t seem to be the case) when are we going to be high enough in the draft to get a likely franchise QB? This is the year to make a move to do so.

They took I would say 10 first round picks at QB and kept failing then they waited. you can say they failed but I say they waited till they got what they wanted.

I just dontwant to draft a QB in the first round because we need one. I would rather make due and get some like what is coming in the next few years.

Outside the obvious QB need,

The fact you have 3 OTs, 3 DTs and 3 Cbs all at #10 targets suggest to me dropping back from #10 . Sounds like about 5-6 CBs all bunched up skill set wise. None really worhty of the #10 oick.

Picking up a 2nd and then drafting one of those 6 or so CBs and double dipping in the 1st and 2nd round for 2 OTs or some combo thereof. The 2nd could be a sweet spot this year for Olineman,

or Do you select a gem like White at #10 for the defense or since there are about 6 CBs bunched up as far as skill set tell Vic on defense you are going have to scheme a little because we needs the better draft picks on the offensive side of the ball. Gotta protect Flacco.

Do you give Vic the better player and tell Much to coach up the other player or vice vera. Finally you have a great Oline coach. Curious after FA , what could be their draft strategy.

Nice article, but I would have like to seen a Daniel Jones comparison as well. He could be in play especially if we move back. He seems like the type of player that could fall into the 2nd round.

I don't think Jones has the big arm that the Broncos seem to want but would still be a nice comparison.

Nice job on the mock.

Drew Lock - I don't doubt that he may be our pick, but I am far from sold on him. At 10 I think we need a more sure thing. Some have thought Denver could trade back and still get Lock. I would be more open to this but only slightly. Too may question marks for me.

Irv Smith - I am interested to learn more. We definitely need a TE.

Germaine Pratt - Potential here, but the tightness in the hips would be concerning to me.

Tytus Howard - I think this will depend mostly on what we think of Bolles. Sounds like James will be coming to Denver.

Penny Hart - Sounds a lot like Sanders. Does he have any PR/KR experience?
