Either way, I feel like we had a great opportunity to grab a better QB in last year's draft. Most of the reports that I have seen have all 4 of last year's top guys ahead of anybody in this class. And next year, the QBs are supposed to be much better than this year's crop as well. Seems odd that we would have traded back last year with 2 guys on the board. I get that Chubb looks to be pretty special and all, but if you have a chance at a franchise-type QB and you don't have one, you have to pull the trigger on one. Unless, Elway just likes Lock that much better than Rosen or Allen and Hebert and Fromm and Tua and those guys.

Maybe they have a short list of people that they would be willing to pick at #10 and they want to shake up the draft order a bit to make sure one falls to them.

So Denver needs a strong safety .
Darrian Stewart was a great signing by Elway . Is there another under the radar safety out there .

I could see a 3rd round safety starting for Denver . Prime spot for Vic to work his magic.

Jared Veldheer will be back, unless the Broncos don't want him back.

After solidifying what had long been a cursed position, the impending unrestricted free agent right tackle "has no plans" to retire, 9News' Mike Klis recently reported.

Veldheer is entering his age-32 campaign and his tenth NFL season. He lived up to his injury-prone reputation in 2018, missing four games, but otherwise stabilized the right edge for Denver, grading out as Pro Football Focus' No. 58 OT among 80 qualifiers. A stronger pass-blocker than run-clearer, Veldheer allowed just one sack and was penalized for holding only once across 704 offensive snaps.

Got told that the Broncos and Juwan James are all but a done deal. I wouldn't expect Veldheer back if this is the case.

They also have been in some aggressive talks with Billy Turner hoping to get his deal done as quick as possible. The Broncos know if he makes it to FA teams really want his services so will pay pretty darn good money.

Broncos are also trying to recruit Adrian Amos to come and play for the defense. He is wanting something in the $9.5 million a year range.

I was not expecting Veldheer back just news.Billy Turner IMO is a better player.
