Ehh a blind squirrel can find a nut that team was ready to win when he came in for the
Most part

Ummm what? The Broncos were coming off a 4-12 season when Elway took over. They had the 2nd worst record in football and were considered to be in utter chaos after teh whole Josh McDaniels fiasco.

The roster was there. So ur telling me
Elway revamped the whole
Roster in one year. Turned it over, only needed manning and won the bowl

I'll give Elway credit for a few things. He immediately drafted Von Miller which I realize was a no-brainer and has more to do with the teams success than anything. The difference between having him healthy and losing him halfway through 2013 is night and day. And Elway did get rid of Tebow, whom he inherited. He just has no eye for QB's other than getting a HOFer for 4 years.

Elway was a top 3 GM for a couple of years. Flipped an offensive contender into a defensive contender. No small feat.

He is hilariously bad at picking QBs, though. I think my wife could pick better QB prospects and Im not even sure she knows how many football players are on the field at the same time

OK....but if you saw how bad Denver was last year with an exceptional rookie season by Chubb, you know if Allen plays well he has a better shot to lead his team to the playoffs.

Will he? No clue.

Barring a miracle, Allen should still be playing in the AFCE when Brady hangs it up...until then I don't see the Bills winning the DIV, but could they be a WC? Sure.

Not reading whole thing, did anyone State why waiting till they cut him wasn't a good idea?

Cuz that seemed like a good idea, to me.

That's pretty comical and Kirk Cousins is another one that has a lot of passes batted or tipped. Yet I still to this day see idiots post online about Russell Wilson's height being a factor in this.
Wilson isn't a pocket passer.

All depends what the pick was. If it's a 4th rounder+ it's a good move as Flacco is a better option than Keenum. Wouldn't be surprised if the Broncos draft a QB early, regardless.

As for the Ravens, this isn't a shock - but if they're really going all in with Lamar "A More Terrible Michael Vick 2.0" Jackson, that's pretty hilarious. I would fully expect the Ravens to be looking for an early QB as well (even in the 2nd/3rd round) as Jackson is a terrible passing option who is looking forward to multiple injuries, but whatever.

As a fan of an AFC team I'm excited. Two AFC teams just got worse. I didn't think they could but they proved me wrong.

That's just another step back for them as a team though. They really need draft capital right now. I think the smarter move would've obviously been to not trade for a lame fuck like Flacco and try and grab your future QB in the 1st to sit for a year behind Keenum. Elway shits the bed again.
They may still take a QB early. Some think maybe Lock?
If that's the case I feel bad for Lock or any other QB Elway selects. They're sure to be a bust.

Well let's see the roster that won the Super Bowl only had 1 player still on the roster from before Elway getting to town. That was D. Thomas. The team he had his first year after the draft and FA only 3 players were still on the team in Chris Harris, Von Miller, and D. Thomas. So that would mean he added 49 new players in a 5 year period to fill out the roster and win a championship.

I never said he revamped the roster in one year. Manning coming in his 2nd year was a huge help to cover up a lot of the holes still on the team. It took them a few years to get all the right pieces for the defense to become the elite unit that it was in 2015.

They added Manning to just take care of the ball. He did that. The talent already on that team won the SB.

All they need to do is use a top pick on the fastest player in the draft and I think they may have out Raidered them. Because you know really fast guys bring championships.
