I can't imagine they duplicate a 13-3 season which is very difficult to do in the first place and there's too many open questions. I had the Rams overrated for the 2018 season. Rams had a very easy schedule and the Cards/49ers were basically a non-factor with Seattle many projected to be a 4-5 win team who didn't catch stride until later in the season.

Gurley = I assume he'll be healthy next season, something was certainly up towards the end of last season though.

Whitworth = Top 5 LT in the league, if he retires you have a HUGE hole at a position difficult to obtain in free agency. The plus side is this frees up a bunch of cap, but the loss of Whitworth is not worth that.

Goff = It will be interesting to see how he handles the Super Bowl loss given it was squarely on the offense that the Rams lost. Goff was a BIG part of that, throwing multiple passes too late and ones that were just downright awful. If Whitworth walks then Goff will for sure be under more pressure in 2019. If Gurley/Anderson struggle to get going, could be worse.

Kupp = How does he recover? Losing Kupp clearly affected Goff and the Rams offense. Goff's yardage per game dropped by over 50 when Kupp left.

Suh
= Suh was good in 2018-19, but he's no longer worth $15-20M which is likely what he'll want. Rams will have a hole to fill here as I imagine Suh leaving to someone with more future cap room to sign a 3-4 year to finish out his career. The Rams have only one more year of cheap rookie QB play, so I can't imagine the Rams give Suh a multi-year.

The rest of that mediocre defense (exception of JJ III) = The front 4 the Rams assembled was the equivalent of when the asshole 8 year old on Madden moves all the 95+ overall to one team and then tries to play you thinking they are smart. However, that same asshole 8 year old kid forgot to do it for the back 7 of the defense with exception of a couple here and there. For a team with that front 4, the defense was pretty pathetic outside of shutting down Brady.

NO draft ammo = They got a 1st... and then don't draft until the 4th frame. There's a # of holes to fill on both sides of the lines (pending Suh/Whitworth), linebacker, and corner. The safeties played fairly well for the Rams.

Strength of Schedule = Rams were tied for the 5th easiest schedule PRIOR to Garoppolo going down and the Cardinals barely fielded an NFL caliber team.

All said, if they can keep Whitworth and Gurley rebounds, it's still an 10+ win team who should make the playoffs. I'll definitely take the under on 13 wins though. That's hard enough to do one season let alone two in a row.
