Even if all those things happen, there will be lots of teams that will have a LOT more flexibility in the offseason to make a move for Davis.
Kinda Blake-ish.So you keep saying, but the guy has averaged roughly 70 games a season the 4 years prior to this one. Only time he has missed playoff games was a freak injury when Olynyk tried to rip off his arm. and if he was needed this season I have no doubt he'd have been back a while ago.
I'll answer any direct question you ask. Trouble is many here seem to be allergic to the idea.Okay.
Time will tell because both players are available in trade talks right now.
Reported Offers I have seen for Conley are very underwhelming.
But I do appreciate that you answered the question even though I disagree strongly.
Lowry and Reggie Jackson ...lol
The Clippers gave up a 1st for 3 months of Jeff Green.you are nuts
2 firsts for a 3 month rental? wtf
It's not an "if" he was expiring after this year, and because of this his deal would be more appealing to a wider variety of teams. At the very least, a team would offer more knowing they'd have him 4 more seasons.Love signed a 5 year deal in 2015. That takes him through next year.
Next year may have been a player option, I don't feel like looking it up. But if that is a mistake, it is a tiny one.
@WiggyRuss,
If Love were expiring this year, what would teams be willing to deal for him?
I think 2 firsts minimum.

Indiana deal for PG seemed underwhelming but until the Oladipo injury looked pretty good, didn't it? Never mind nothing matters unless you see an actual deal made.
I can agree with the Olidipo part of your post.I'll answer any direct question you ask. Trouble is many here seem to be allergic to the idea.

And missed many a playoff for nagging injuries. Love only missed playoff games for a freak injury.Kinda Blake-ish.
Well, Blake has missed an entire Season.

does this mean you are now saying the Cavs could get multiple firsts for Love after agreeing they couldn't get an asset for him?The Clippers gave up a 1st for 3 months of Jeff Green.

what did I say that was wrong? Said "before this year he averaged roughly 70 per season THE LAST 4 YEARS."Wrong again.....LOL.
Kevin Love Stats | Basketball-Reference.com
Before this season.....he played in 635 games in 10 seasons.....63 a season......that's injury prone.
Playing in just 4 games this season will bring that down even more......

would u like to retract your comment that Love had an extra year left on his deal?So Rodney Hood and Kyle Korver are worth firsts in your mind, but Love isn't worth 2?
Interesting.
Put your personal feeling aside for a moment. It's not an "if" he was expiring after this year, and because of this his deal would be more appealing to a wider variety of teams. At the very least, a team would offer more knowing they'd have him 4 more seasons.
Fucker will have one Magical game. What's not to like about Jeff Green? Horrible rebounder and terrible shooter from outside
He's the bestest

INDEPENDENCE, Ohio -- The day after the Cavaliers season ended with a loss at home to Golden State in the NBA Finals, Kevin Love talked to Koby Altman for more than an hour.
One of the topics was LeBron James possibly leaving via free agency. What would that mean to Love?
The All-Star forward had one more year left on his contract, plus a player-option for 2019-20.
"I want to be here," Love told Altman. "I want to be a part of it."
