I do think Magic said something like "if we have to we'll trade his son". Lavar has been hanging out a lot in my area watching LaMelo play.

I did hear about Wall. Wow. Only thing that puts him ahead of those guys is he's a superstar if he is healthy....but those are not easy to come back from.

The Lakers offered the ENTIRE young core plus two first rounders and the Pelicans still rejected the deal.

Now they want 6-8 picks.

At this point it's just too much. I get AD is a superstar but they're not going to get a better deal.

Uh, you are wrong on this.

A trade rumor is a rumor when there are no negotiations. Once the negotiations start, it is no longer a rumor.

For example, all of this started with reports that the Lakers were interested in AD. At that point, those were rumors.

However, once the Lakers and the Pels started talking, it became a negotiation and was no longer a rumor.
