ehh....i dont know how you could be happy after being bad for 5 years- and at the end of the day end up with Kuzma, Ball, Ingram and Hart.At this point I think Lakers fans will be happy either way.
They'll either be happy they officially landed AD or they'll be happy they didn't give up literally everything for AD.
i dont see why they would f with the team they haveWhat in the actual Fuck tho?

dont get me worng- id rather have gasol and conley over jv and lowry---- but geez.....why let the cat out of the bag on a deal that is so likely not to happen?
i would also add where the Knicks land in the lotto- and if its a reasonable thing to think that KD or Irving may go there.Well, imo the pelicans just don't want to trade with us(before the deadline atleast). Just spitballing here...but once the offseason hits, this is is gonna come down to 2 things.
1.) If Danny Ainge wants to actually give up everything
2.) What Kyrie does.
If I'm the knicks, or Lakers, I show up to his door the first day of FA to try to pitch him on teaming with KD...or in our case, with AD/Lebron, because if Kyrie comes to LA(not likely), I don't see Boston trading for AD

If KD or Irving go there and the Knicks get a top 2 pick to include in a Davis deal- things get very interesting for them.
The Knicks very easily could sign KD and say Kemba, and then put together a trade for davis for like theier lotto pick, future firsts, Knox, DSJ, and cap flotsam.
i have to say- if i am the Pelicans I would much rather have the #2 pick, Knox, DSJ, and an extra first rounder in the future, than i would Ingram, Ball, kuzma, and 2 first rounders that are likely to be bad.
just me being honest.
The lakers are definitly in the discussion for Davis and have put a decent offer out there--- but things can come otgether where the Knicks or Celtics, if they wanted to, could trump that offer.
Lowry has not hid his contempt for Masai. What in the actual Fuck tho?
Ingram is definitely an interesting piece---- I agree--- but there is a lot of uncertainty there.I agree. You're looking for the most top tier talent. I think Ingram though is undervalued and eventually could be a really good player. His on/off splits with Lebron indicate he thrives when Lebron's not out there (which is understandable). He could be another D'Lo in the making in that he just needs a new environment.
But if I'm the Pelicans I opt for a shot a superstar talent. That's ultimately what you want.
Lowry still has another year left after this one.Not sure how much that helps Memphis, who is looking for youth and picks.
dJ give me a break- do you not know posturing when you see it?The Lakers have withdrawn from the AD trade.
It basically comes down to who do you believe has the makings of becoming a franchise player.Ingram is definitely an interesting piece---- I agree--- but there is a lot of uncertainty there.
I mean- he is an RFA next year--- what if a team that strikes out on a free agent goes and offers Ingram an offer sheet of 4 years 60M---- or shit even more.
Having cost certainty on Ingram for only 1 year is an issue.

Tatum is the only one.
Kuz, Brown and Ingram could develop into occasional All Stars.
Ball projects to be solid.
Tatum is the only possible Star.
Even though the Lakers are willing to give up MORE assets...
