First you beat the team on a play. When the ref helps you beat them on the next play... and if you beat them three plays prior the refs wouldn't be in position to help.

Look, it sucks when a ref blows a call... but rarely does a game come down to a blown call where a team never blew any of their own plays.

Another "I don't understand". Regarding the Edelman non muff. I pulled this quote from an article from the Boston Herald and I've heard this elsewhere too.

"The first, which required a lengthy video review, involved Julian Edelman muffing a punt. The original call was that the bouncing ball touched him. Replays, even in stop motion, seemed inconclusive, which means the call should stand."

Did anyone think, after looking at all angles, the play should be considered inconclusive?

I didn't think it hit him.

But I also didn't think they would reverse the call.

I know this whole topic is starting to get stale, but I keep hearing the claims of favoritism by the refs for the Pats.

We already discussed some of the advantages the Chiefs had, but what about Kelce? Anybody else this two of his catches (including his TD) that included push offs crossed the line into OPI. I forgot about it until I saw a replay of Gronk making a sharp cut and making no contact (0, nada, zilch). In the old days Gronk would create some contact, but eventually got burned by the OPI calls.

I mentioned it. Between that and the pick plays I was livid.
For two years if Gronk looked at a defender he was getting flagged for OPI.
We' ll never convince the haters calls or no-calls go both ways. The big difference is NE normally overcomes them.

No it does not. Quite the opposite. They take all angles and piece them together. From each side it showed one side wasn't touched but the other might have. At some point all angles showed nothing touched.

I have said this 100 times we and coaches have Hi Def Slo Mo Stop and Go replay we and coaches get shit right all the time. Try it at full speed while watching three different things making sure you are in the right position while moving to avoid contact and play interruption with 300 pound men charging at you. Then lets see how the calls go.

Refs miss calls if your team plays well enough it's rare a missed call changes the outcome of a game.

And onto the topic of OT... If you didn't play well enough to win, stop crying when you lose. Every team has 60 minutes to win. For X sake, The win after regulation could be decided by just a coin flip and it wouldn't matter.... You did not win this game.
