Nah we good . Just gotta make open shots when they're there . I quit counting at 8 shots that went halfway down then came back out. Weird because the same thing happened the first time we played MSU. Had about a 10 minute stretch in both games where nothing was falling. Open shits too not even great D. Weird. But also we still tend to let our offense affect our D. If shots aren't falling we tend to speed up on D and that's not good for us
Y'all need more athleticism aka brothas.
I think we are ok on athletes . Cook is a freak , Moss is streaky but athletic and Baer and Weiskamp are good athletes. Our biggest spot where we lack athleticism is PG but Bohannon is typically great with the ball and s knockdown shooter so it's tough to complain but he does get beat off the drive too much which leads to open 3s off the help . I'll be happy with a tourney bid and hopefully a win or 2 this year . Pretty much everyone is back next year and we add a top 50ish recruit
Agreed on Cook. Just after him "testing the waters" last year, I assumed he will this year.
Cooks issue is he doesn't have much range . Tough to be a NBA player if you're range is 15 feet and in . If he could add a 3 point shot he'd be nearly unguardable
and add 3-4 inches. He is too short for his position in the NBA. I hope the best for him, but I don't see how it will happed
Well if he could shoot he could play the 3. He's got good handle and can pass . His issue is right now he'd need to play the 4 which he's tall enough for ( 6'9) but he's pretty skinny to take that banging
