If OV dumps it deep instead of going for the Hertl cock out, the Caps win in regulation.

And if the puck doesn't magically get thru 5 bodies, Caps win in regulation as well. Can't buy a break right now, and the blue liners are bad. Orlov has been awful. That said, it's the right point in the season for a skid.

I've never seen a more innocuous last second play tie the game. Looked like even the Sharks just thought it was over.

Don't get me wrong, OV had a whale of a game and I don't blame him one bit for trying to salt away the game. Just freaking horrible luck in the dying seconds.

well especially since it wasn't an icing if he missed. Honestly figured the game was over at the time anyway. There was no part of me that ever thought (even after the loss) 'well, OV should have dumped it softly to a corner. Terrible luck. Shocking.

Literally ran into him?

Was it a clean hit?
Almost did! He was coming out of a conference room as I was walking back to mine. I think he looked over me as I moved out of his way. My bald head may have blinded him though.

My friend asked him if he was enjoying Columbus when we held the All Star Game. He said "No".

Should have offered him some High Bank vodka :D
Haha... Would have had to go with OYO, Watershed, or Buckeye. High Banks is only a couple years old.

Are you TJ Oshie?

(for those not watching TJ and OV just ran into each other and concussion spotters just pulled OV off the bench. )

Alex Ovechkin just scored a goal and now has the most NHL points of any Russian-born player.

The rest of the top 5 - Sergei Fedorov, Alexander Mogilny, Alexei Kovalev, and Evgeni Malkin.

My goodness that's a lot of Alex.
