Here's another that I didn't make. I had a co-worker come into town for a few days and after work he pounded this out. Took two nights for him to make this.

He did a good job. He's a Russian, so he follows directions well. We can make one when you come on up.

@Nod4Eight I plan on using an old fire extinguisher that I cut in half as you can see in the picture. Picking up some new coins right now but I’ll be starting in about an hour. I’ll text you pictures if it works.

Here's another I'm finishing up... Ferriers rasp, which starts out with a good shape, but is hard to move because it's already been hardened. Still gotta finish the handle shaping/sanding and put an edge on it.

My current one is 70# and not nearly the anvil, but it's going to be tightly secured to a base that weighs about 100#, so it will be solid. As you know, it's all in the weight. Once you get over 100 - 150 lbs it doesn't seem to make that much of a difference imo.

I thought putting it in a forge took away the hardness?
