Auburn? My worst cfb memories the JJ Stokes game and Vince Youngs knee was down

Were in the negatives too the wind chill has been nasty. Gained another year last week. Still didn't get that letter that says I hit the age where they ship New Yorkers to Florida yet

Did watch the game Sunday. And I cant deny it Brady was impressive especially with the game on the line

Fl is getting crowded, NYers get shipped to Guatamala now

But we are seriously seeing history made !

There will never be a run like the Patriots have done. I mean this is something you can tell your grand kids or kids ! ( some of you shouldn't be reproducing by the way)

I grew up watching Bradshaw and Montana make their runs, but those don't even compare to what Tommy Boy has done!

You're ging to get along great with @Tidergirl amazing sense of humor. And one of the most intelligent sports fans i've ever talked to. Roll Raiders!!!! :suds:

Still may have bad memories of the Tuck Rule. And the Brady avy I had for a month. But I gotta give Brady credit sonny. He's clutch
Yes Brady is clutch, especially when a Chief player lines up offside on a key Chief interception.

Theres a flip side to that too tho. Chiefs did get some very iffy calls. And they missed 2 pick plays. Which I hate seeing in NFL or College football. Pick plays need to be flagged every time imo they're kinda blatant and hard to miss. Chiefs defensive player lined up in the neutral zone was pretty clear too tho. Brady made some very clutch throws on high pressure drives. Gotta respect that imo

Yes definitely the Chief player lined up offside on the Chiefs interception. I can't understand why the pick play isn't called more often, I see it in every game.

Really should be an instant flag imo. Looked like Goff was about to go full Cal down the stretch of that Rams game. He had Woods twice on that last drive to tie. Missed him in stride the first time Rushed himself and threw it into the ground the second. Great catch by Woods on the first. Still has the hands he did at SC. But he's gone if Goff puts the ball where it needed to be.

Yes I agree, one play Woods was in full stride in the open over the middle and Goff didn't see him. It looked like a sure TD to me. I know I'm a homer, but I really feel good about this Super Bowl.

I'm with you I hate when refs miss blatant pick plays. They are/can be game changers. The defense is already hamstringed enough by current rules. It's like a blatant hold that results in a huge run. Luckily most of them get called. But the same thing they can be game changers.

Unlike the bs the refs flag consistently now that have little effect on a play. The PF on the Brady brushing of his mask, a play that is on the other side of the field from a QB rolling out to the other side gets a hold or a PI. It goes on and on. Those ticky fouls need to be addressed and the real game changer penalties need to become a point of emphasis.

Goff did throw some nice passes, that one pass that caught Cooks in stride was a thing of beauty.

I'm not fond of the NFL rules right now. And I get they want a more offensive minded league. The rule changes have been reflected in the inflated stats. But pick plays gotta go. Its not allowing a defensive player to do his job. And playing way too much of an impact on games. Its just a more blatant form of offensive PI. The flags drove me nuts during the game looked like PAC refs all yellow. Idk I like seeing defense which they seem to be killing off.

One of the stats that stood out to me was the chiefs got 4 first downs via penalty. As opposed to the pats 1. A lot of which occurred on key drives. Some were legit but some where very tricky tack calls that extended drives. The Pats could have very easily imploded but they kept their poise. Kinda makes the Pats win that much more impressive imo.

It's good to see an unbiased view of the officiating. If you read many of these threads and the NFC game but didn't see the games you'd swear it was all one sided.

It's easy to wear blinders when your team loses.

I really hope the NFL and comp committee can get a handle on this soon before it becomes the WWE.

I may have some experience with bad officiating. PAC 12 is well special in that department :dhd:

If you're a fan log enough bad officiating will find you. As well, a call or two will go your way. You just can't be naïve enough to see it. In the end it all evens out.
