I really only know of one fan anywhere that is entirely anti-Eason. Most of us are cautiously optimistic at best. I think the rest of us all want the best candidate to win the job and do well next year, no matter who that ends up being.

I can't really find any reason to be anti-Eason unless you're completely infatuated with Jake Haener, Yankoff or Sirmon.

Chico McClatcher working out with Salvon Ahmed and Hunter Bryant. Good news for the Dawgs. He would be a nice addition to the offense in 2019 if he's healthy and wants to continue playing, which this video seems to indicate.

Fumbles aside, he didn't look fully healthy to me when he played in 2018. Seemed to lack the explosiveness he had before.

Barring injuries on that offensive side, the skill set positions could be very, very good next year!
Yankoff gets them the ball oh boy look out

I know the coaching staff really loves experience, but Austin Osbourne and Marquis Spiker are really talented players. I'm hoping to see them on the field a lot in 2019.

There gonna have to start moving to the younger guys, they need speed and players that have that edge and both of them can go in and give that.

And at 6'3 Spiker has that chance to go get the 50/50 type balls. They have missed not having that guy for a while now.

Yeah with the arm strength of these QB's competing they really could very easily put that ball up and a bigger target can go up and get it. I love me some of that "above the rim" football.

This hire might look like just another former Petersen coach coming back home,
BUT this guy had a big hand in the passing game planning for the Broncos, and is coming of being an OC at WKU.....

Has Bush been put on notice, or they gonna handle the offense like they do on the defense????

He's known as a excellent recruiter as well and knows the region well. Expect them to make a big push to add at least one more target at WR for the class. Hopefully he'll kick the pass game in the ass.

One thing I noticed with both Spiker and Osborne is they both have incredible body control and ability to make those contested catches. Both seem to be guys who would thrive in the red zone and on deep to intermediate routes.

Austin Osborne on Hudl

I think they both have bright futures ahead of them and I genuinely believe that they will work their way into becoming impact players irrespective of the experienced players ahead of them.

I'm happy that they added a guy with play-calling experience. Having a guy who has knowledge on how to run and design an offense will be a benefit to the Husky offense. Hell he has more experience calling plays than Hamden does.

As much as we'd all love another Jeff Tedford-type assistant coach hire, I'm happy with this.

Not a big basketball guy personally but I do keep up with the basketball team and I've been trying to get more into basketball since NCAAF is over and the Seahawks' season is over.

#6 overall HS basketball prospect Isaiah Stewart will be announcing his commitment on Sunday and it seems UW is a favorite at this point. Could be a really big win for the UW basketball program.

While everyone else is out trying to close in the last few of their class before LOI day, Petersen is sitting at hec ed watching basketball to support what hopefully is going to be the 1000th win at the facility.

UW is really fortunate to have such great coaches of the basketball and football programs. Hopefully they will both be around for a very long time. You really have to love what Hopkins and Petersen are doing at their respective programs.

Mike Hopkins had this kid on his radar back at Syracuse. Incredible that he threw an offer at him and got him. That's a huge recruiting win over the big programs and Syracuse since he's from NY.

Little nugget from Byron Murphy on going against Eason on the scout team.

We will see in a couple of months what that arm looks like and how far he has come with his decision making and get a sense of how ready he is for the limelight. We all know there are some hungry kids pushing for that starter role that will keep the pressure up on him to deliver or get the fuck out of the way.

Spring ball is going to be way more interesting this year than it has in a long long time.

Eason I believe will be the favorite to win the job, but there is a hell of a lot of talent competing for that starting position. I'm excited to watch whoever wins the job.
