Jed Lowrie signed 2 years, $10 million per. I love this signing. Really good player, can play all over the field. I'm thinking Frazier gets bumped.

I honestly did not see that one coming....but props to the new GM.
Solid pick up. Nothing wrong at all with some legit depth for a change.

Ftr: I think Frazier stays at 3B, McNeil/Lowrie platoon at 2B, Cano moves to 1B with Dom Smith backing him up, and Rosario will be the SS.

Looks like Pete Alonso will be the odd man out again.

*Lowrie can also play SS & 3B if needed.

Sources: Mets, Lowrie agree for 2 years, $20M

We still need another bullpen arm. I like our lineup a lot, defensively I think we're in good shape, depth is solid, starters need to stay healthy.

So 2 thoughts, we don't have a backup short stop. Lowrie is not a viable option there.

Also, who is the odd man out? Dom Smith seems like he has an uphill battle. Seems odd to trade for JD Davis if he isn't getting major league action. McNeil is a man without a position. I know they've discussed him in the OF but that just means our outfield D tanks.
