And just like the plumber down the street, she's no less entitled to voicing her opinion. You don't like it, don't listen. I don't agree with half the shit Curt Schilling has said, but you don't see me on here bitching about him. Because even if I think he's a colossal douche, he's entitled to his douchey takes. You seem to be splitting hairs when it comes to when someone can and cannot have an opinion or voice it.
I think what I would do if I were her would be to ask myself "If my name wasn't Curry would anyone want to hear what I have to say?" before I started pontificating on a subject. If the answere was no I'd keep my opinion to myself.
As far as splitting hairs about who should and should not have an opinion on a subject, I can't be any clearer than give you the answer "everyone". Having an opinion on a subject and voicing that opinion to the public are two different things though; you do the latter at your own risk. Just ask Meghan Kelly or Jimmy The Greek

But again, if there's anyone qualified to rant on food being served, Ayesha Curry fits that. She didn't criticize the President, she criticized the food. She said she would serve them better food. She didn't say Trump was a facist prick for not using local small business to cater a private party. There was nothing political involved in her tweet. If Paula Dean tweeted out the same thing, you'd have no issues with it, 100%.

"Chef offers to cook better meal for Athletes who were served fast food" Could easily have been the headline instead. That gives her a more than adequate platform to speak on this, don't you think?

Didn't we discuss that playing dumb does not suit you?

Deflection is definitely your strong suit. Carry on.
Trying to make her argument something its not is ridiculous. You know darn well why she made the criticism.

LOL, ok. It's not like there's any additional context for you to read into. That would probably be asking too much. I mean seriously out of my entire post, you picked one sentence and fixated on it, when in reality it was pretty much a throw away statement by me. I could have just as easily left it out and you still deflected and evaded my premise. If I ever need someone for a Dodgeball team, I'm hitting you up first.

I guess your premise was not as obvious as you thought. I still don't see what your premise was. Anyway, I'm looking forward to tonight's game to see how the team works with Cousins in the lineup. I'm not expecting much. I think its going to take a while for them to get used to each other. Seems to me its going to mean a big role change for both Durant and Green.

I honestly wouldn't expect Green and Durant's roles to change much, if at all, at least in the immediate future. Cousins will likely be the guy Kerr staggers with the 2nd unit a lot because of his ability to score. That likely means more time of Steph and KD playing together for extended periods of time during the 1st and 3rd quarters. Cousins will likely be a guy they start all 4 quarters with, using him in 5 minute spurts. I think he'll be limited to around 20 mins per game.

The real adaptation to the roles will come if Cousins proves he's at least 80% of what he was previous to his injury. In that case, I could see potential for some decrease in scoring opportunities for the big 3 scorers on the team.

I don't see Green or Durant having to free-lance as much on defense with Cousins in there. They may have more defined roles.

Cousin's really isn't a known commodity as a defender, imo. He's ok at times, but nothing where he's going to solidify the paint or anything in that aspect. Green will always have to be the rover in this defensive scheme.

That's the role I was hopng he would take. He could do it if he wanted to. I don't think he's ever been asked to play that role before.

God damn Cousins is a load when he asserts himself.

Pretty decent debut for Cousins but fouling out in only 15 minutes of floor time is absurd. Maybe he was just a little hyped.

Stop.

He looked great.

Fouling out so early shouldn't be surprising because:

1) he hasn't played in over a year. He isn't used to the speed of the game so he will tend to reach and grab more than normal
2) he is trying to assert himself as a physical defensive presence for his team. Again, leading to more fouls.

Bullshit. Fouling is generally laziness on defense; not moving the feet. Another concern was his hanging out there on the three-point line looking to get a shot. I'd like to see his role be more of an inside presence. They have enough 3-point guys.
He did look pretty good physically though; I'll give you that.

Saw a poll on MSN this morning and 68% agree with my position on celebrities who spout their opinion on social issues and politics. They say they are less likely to follow these celebs when they pull that stuff. I was pretty certain my opinion was the popular one on this issues; not yours.
Its further interesting because MSN is normally a liberal rag.

Dude. He hasn't played in over a year. It isn't laziness. His timing is off.

I am used to playing 3 days a week. Took 2 weeks off because of a minor muscle tweak and my first day back was Thursday. My legs felt like cement blocks after 5 minutes.

It will take him awhile to get into game shape. He has always been somewhat foul prone because he plays a physical style and gets 1-2 offensive foils a game.

I watched last night. His fouls were not a result of "lazy play".

Lastly, Cousins will add an interior scoring presence. But, what makes him such a threat and such a great fit is his ability to space the floor and shoot the 3. When Somebody like Boban is guarding him, pick and pop is 100% what he should be doing. Your criticism is completely unwarranted.

The most exciting thing Boogie brings to the fold is another player they can run offense through who can shoot, pass and drive. Limiting him to the low block is archaic thinking and a waste of his talents.

I'm more than happy with the way he played. I didn't care for him hanging around the 3-point line on offense; that's not the role I envisioned for him but he was 3 for 4 on 3's while the rest of the team went 6 for 35. I envisioned more of an inside presence both on offense and defense where I thought his ability to get rebounds on both sides would help; we do agree there it seems.

And he will bring just that.

And a lot more because he has a perimeter game too. Boogies perimeter game means the opposing big can't help off him to rim protect. That is even more valuable than a post game because it will open driving lanes for everybody else.
