LeBron James just can’t stop being a baby. He cries and whines whenever he doesn’t make a successful shot. He complains about referees. He gives up when he can’t play defense. If I was LeBron’s Coach, this is what I would say: GROW UP MAN! You are an adult for crying out loud. NBA players screw up making shots and playing defense all the time. It’s not a big deal, really. It’s just a game! Picture representing my post: 21F865BF-8431-4EAB-89CB-B7472F51234B.png

If you were LeBron's coach,

I would put the over/under on 5 minutes before he got you fired. I take the under.

Yeah, technically OP is right.

Of course, you could take the title of the thread, replace "LeBron James" with about 90% of pro athletes in the world, and still have a truthful thread.

That's why the other NBA players nicknamed him "Bitch".

Lol, well he worked for it and had given talent, so I dont hold any grudges for something I've never had
He is the man when it comes to basketball. I just don't care for the way he acts on the court.

I dont mind now that he is a Laker, but honestly what does on the court is more acceptable than his many ludicrous comments off the court

Yeah the political and social comments he makes can seem pretty ignorant but I give him credit for his off court life. You never hear about him getting in any trouble even though his every move is scrutinized and he does a lot of charity work. He is a family man and his kids seem very normal.
I think he gets confused sometimes because people fawn all over him in his basketball life and he thinks people want to hear what he has to say about politics.
I just don't like all the whining and cry baby faces on the court over every little touch.

Ha ha. he is a coach killer. Watching him completely ignore his coaches in the huddles in Cleveland was astonishing.

I thought the slavery mentality comments were way out of line and demonstrated that Lebron know nothing about what his people went through, but I'm in a black church that has never celebrated black history month in the last 40 years. It took me, e a single white man to imitate it

The only problem with this is that Lebron is a media protected entity. Especially from ESPN.
You never see an article criticizing Lebron. Yet anyone who crosses Lebron gets roasted.

When Irving left ...the media went into full attack on him.

Remember this below ? ..... He did not even get criticized for that.
Had Durant pulled this he would have been roasted.

So his hand was hurt for 3 days and it just happens to leak out 5 minutes out after he lost?
And then Lebron has the balls to say he would not had the cast on if the news did not leak out?

Lebron and ESPN are in bed together. The cast thing was a complete set up by both parties because Lebron always needs an excuse when he fails.

No, LeBron received plenty of criticism from that. Where were you?

And honestly, the whole cast thing was much ado about nothing. It is a perfect summation of why people don't like him. But really, it is all because LeBron cares way too much about his public image and tries really hard to force certain narratives.

In your other example, it is pretty clear that Kyrie deserved everything he got when leaving Cleveland. He even basically admitted as much last week in his latest attempt to deflect blame for the Celtics mediocre start. I guess that is one thing he learned from LeBron at least.

Very true. The fawning sycophants at ESPN are disgusting as they gush on and on about "lebron" as if they are on a first name basis with him.
