Rather, with Foles we know where the warts are. The Saints D just showed it again last weekend. Nick can have a supreme confidence (and God bless him for that)...but once he is shaken from that he can lose that confidence fast and struggle to get it back. This is a known fact.

We saw it at the start of 2014 (or maybe he was dinged up during that time)
We saw it at the start of 2018 (or maybe he was dealing with nagging injuries)

Point is.....the core of the debate here is would you rather have the devil you know or the devil you don't know?

When it comes to QB of my team....I would rather have the devil I don't know. Because....until we know it exists then it is speculation.

if you take it to the current players on the team, i'd bet anything they want foles. if you ask non eagles fans around the country, it will most likely come back as foles. if you go to analysts, former players, writers, etc. most likely, foles. philly fans already have it etched in their brain that wentz will be a MVP caliber megastar for a long time.

i bet if you go around the city, most would even take wentz over someone like mahomes.
