Ok, well I hope he's got another good run in him. I'm cautiously optimistic. If he's petrified to get hurt again then that's bad juju!2017...

Cunningham was a gunsliger, always out of the pocket getting slammed about. The more he got hurt, the more he stayed in the pocket. Sound familiar? I wish the best for Wentz and hope he doesn't hear footsteps all the time.shitty offensive coordinators did in Cunningham.
We're both gonna find out next year won't we.I didn't read his play this year as scared... I read it as slow... or not 100%.

I did say "if", and nobody's going to know but him. I'll be cheering the Eagles next year as I always do but if he goes down with another season ending injury and Foles has been traded, I'm gonna be royally pissed and I expect quite a few in the fan base will as well. That's an assumption on your part. Wentz seemed to struggle with some confidence that slowed him down on decisions this year....but I did not see petrified.
Rather, with Foles we know where the warts are. The Saints D just showed it again last weekend. Nick can have a supreme confidence (and God bless him for that)...but once he is shaken from that he can lose that confidence fast and struggle to get it back. This is a known fact.
We saw it at the start of 2014 (or maybe he was dinged up during that time)
We saw it at the start of 2018 (or maybe he was dealing with nagging injuries)
Point is.....the core of the debate here is would you rather have the devil you know or the devil you don't know?
When it comes to QB of my team....I would rather have the devil I don't know. Because....until we know it exists then it is speculation.

Injuries happen. Sudfeld looked capable in the times he has played.
If Wentz goes down again next season that will be 3 in a row. Philly fans will NOT be impressed with the outlook.I can agree with that. I want Wentz to be starting and Foles backing him up for many years to come.
But a decision has to be made. And I think the team made the right one. And if Wentz goes down again next year I will be upset....but not with the decision they are making right now to go forward with Wentz.

Doug Scovil was his first OC, who died a year later. After that, Randall did not have a good OC, plus Buddy never developed a good OL. that was Randall's downfall (and buddy's).
No it won't. Fans want wins. You're projecting a kind and understanding Philly fan base. Ever seen that before?depends on what it is....

here we go with the i hate wentz or i'm a shitty fan now simply because i'd prefer to keep foles and get max value from wentz
reminds me of when i was part of the 1% who was pissed at the ryan howard extension because he wasn't worth the money, was an injury waiting to happen and was going to break down much quicker than expected. "we get it, you hate him." "we have the money, who cares." "it's not your money, shut up." i just had to keep shaking my head and say.. we'll see in a few years.
but of course, after a couple of years everyone was just blaming amaro and calling howard names. gee, wonder what's going to happen with wentz if he fails? (oh wait, i can't say that.. it makes me a bad fan!!) "roseman sucks, he was just lucky." "wentz doesn't have the weapons." "he's still recovering from his injury."
same boring shit. "wentz was playing on one leg." funny, didn't seem that way to me. you'd think a guy in that poor of shape wouldn't be on the fucking field, right? i don't think holding on to the ball too long, fumbling it, making poor reads and throwing into double/triple coverage was because of his "one leg." i can't wait to hear how he's not fully healthy with his back this year, so we have to wait until 2020.
Once again proving Philly fans are not the brightest bulbs.and that's the problem. most people do not want to advance past this thought process. it simply consists of "wentz is better." there are numerous main and side factors that exist for many years to come that the huge majority of fans do not want to discuss in any nature.
if you take it to the current players on the team, i'd bet anything they want foles. if you ask non eagles fans around the country, it will most likely come back as foles. if you go to analysts, former players, writers, etc. most likely, foles. philly fans already have it etched in their brain that wentz will be a MVP caliber megastar for a long time.
i bet if you go around the city, most would even take wentz over someone like mahomes.
Always negative with you. "You" didn't get shit you're correct. Not sure why you keep using "we"?because you can't buy a wildcard weekend victory t-shirt.
All we really won was a worse draft pick. Congrats.
