I am thinking Adon or Santos. They have the clear ceiling advantage. Williams has proximity with more ceiling than the other proximity guys (Black, Gerber, Coonrod, Avelino, Valera) save for maybe Beede. I think Ferguson should start getting in the discussion as well. If he sticks, he could be a legit get.

Santos here for sure from me. Probably the best bet on this list to make any sort of significant waves in the starting rotation, and he had a very impressive season in Salem before a freak head injury derailed the tail-end.

I think it's being vastly over-looked too that he went straight from the Dominican League (an extremely raw league) to the short-season league, which is filled with college-level players, at the age of 18 all year. That is a MASSIVE jump. Not many high school players even make that jump, but that's basically what he did.

And we got this kid AND Anderson for a couple months of Nunez.

I hope they fired the GM who pulled that trade off.

I don’t think I would trade either Anderson nor Santos straight up for Mejia right now.

We more than doubled our net talent with those two trades.

I'm going off into the woods on this one and voting for John Gavin. In one and a half seasons of professional baseball, he is averaging 10.4 Ks per 9 with a WHIP of 1.055, mainly as a starter. I could see him in the big leagues by 2021 and I think he'll be a solid back end contributor. Adon and Williams are too much of wild cards for me and I want to see a full season of Santos before I put him above Gavin. I'll probably vote him 10th. Maybe Fabian 11th or 12th. I don't even think Howard should be in the discussion, probably not even top 20 any longer.

Once someone receives a vote, I am keeping them in the poll. Someone voted Howard at about #5 or so.

I like Howard, but I agree he doesn’t belong this high. I am thinking he belongs somewhere in the 15-20 neighborhood.

I forgot someone voted for him. I do wonder where he will start the season. With all the middle infielders going into spring training, do you think they'll send him back to AA? I assume the starting infield in Sacramento will be Zach Green at 1st base, Breyvic Valera at 2nd base, Abiatal Avelino at shortstop and Ryder Jones at 3rd base. I doubt they make Howard a backup in the minor leagues. Of course, that leaves him, Levi Michael, Jalen Miller and CJ Hinojosa to battle it out for playing time at Richmond. A couple of these guys will either have injuries or will be gone come April.
