Spending a little over a week with a 2-3 days in these:

Frankfurt
Heidelberg
Munich

Obviously countless dunkels and pubs will be drank and seen.

Anything anyone feels is a must see spot in any of these? As far as bars or sights?

My first trip over the pound

Oh, man... Haven't been to any of these cities. I'd recommend asking @nappyvalley... He's been there often, but not sure about the cities you listed.

A buddy of mine went a couple of years ago... he said they don't have much makers mark over there, so I'm not sure how to deal with that issue just yet.

There's a Blanton's (I believe) European version. Try to pick that up.

Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site and Neuschwanstein Castle were neat places i remember from my high school trip. Just dont take the short cut up the mountain, take the horse...

Yeah I've still never been to Munich unfortunately, nor Heidelberg, and I finished a flight in Frankfurt once but I left the same day for a long trip to the northeast. So can't really offer any tips specific to those cities. >90% of my Germany time has been spent in the former East Germany.

But in general TL, make sure you eat some döner and currywurst, a couple of Germany's favorite late night drunk foods (but good anytime).

If you're into Jäger (which I'm not so much), that type of liquor is called Kräuter. Unlike here where Jäger is virtually the only one, Germany has many brands of Kräuter that you can try. They love having a drink of that after a meal (to "aid" in "digestion").

I thought you were mostly up in Northeast Germany, but wasn't sure.

I don't recall seeing much currywurst in Dusseldorf... Might be a berlin thing

I was under the impression it was a nationwide thing. I did just google a little and it was invented in Berlin, at least

Yeah, you see it everywhere there. I didn't recall seeing it so much in Dusseldorf, but maybe I just wasn't paying attention.

Wikipedia says 800 million are sold each year in Germany, with Berlin having 70 million, so it can't be just that region... Has to be Nationwide.
