Foles is a Legend for what he did last year. But Wentz is the future. 12.9 weeks of a healthy 2017 showed he was the best player in football when healthy. Question his health? fine. Question his status as an Eagle?

Wentz is the only one of the two guys who has a sixteen game season under his belt, but he's the health risk.

2. Fans are too emotional and should never be taken seriously when thinking about what players to get. If teams were stupid enough to do that Tim Tebow could very well still be in the NFL.

owners across all levels of sports most DEFINITELY do talk to players at times and ask them how they feel about certain situations. you made it sound like i was literally suggesting they take a poll and make a decision based on results

foles went 9-2 in 2013, led a 4th quarter comeback against the saints in the playoffs and we lost on a FG at the end.

he started 5-2 in 2014, where he had to throw 62 times on the road (without taking a sack) in a close loss to an arizona team who started the year 9-1. he then picked up a shoulder injury i believe and was traded.

we then went 7-9 in 2015 with the "talented" sam bradford, who teams are still signing for 500 million per year even though he's never done anything, because foles apparently wasn't good enough despite the previous 14-4 record.

in 2017 foles helps finish off the rams. then the eagles beat the giants, raiders, falcons, vikings and pats for their only superbowl. and foles picks up the MVP.

in 2018 foles takes the depleted eagles into LA and leads them to a huge upset. then he knocks off the red hot texans the following week. then he burns the bears on a clutch drive. and finally, he's about to burn the saints, but alshon can't handle the pass.

why the fuck would anyone want to dispose of this guy for a soon to be 27 year old, injured, inconsistent, 0 playoff appearance, holds on to the ball too long and has fumbling issues guy? because he's a #2 pick and he's sooooooo talented. and talented players always do so much. who's next in line to sign the former #1 pick sam bradford? because he's SOOOOOOOOO talented. i know the pats are kicking themselves every day over the fact they wasted so much time on a QB drafted in the 6th round. all the talent they've missed out on these last 2 decades for that no talent bum currently taking snaps.

Foles had a bum shoulder all through camp last season. Didn't play a snap in the preseason of 2017.

Has missed games because of concussions, broken bones, and been benched for poor play in prior seasons.

Foles is also a legend for what he did this year. No way were the Eagles on track for the playoffs. Foles got everybody excited about winning and did a remarkable job. I've been cheering the Eagles for a lot of years so I hope Wentz can create the same excitement under center that Foles did the last 2 years. It's a shitty situation and I hope the Eagles decide to cough up big money for him to hold a clip board holder however Wentz might not like it. He keeps being called the future and Foles keep showing him up.

every QB is going to get battered and bruised to a degree. however.. wentz has already fractured a rib, torn his ACL and had a back fracture in 3 years. he's already missed more games than brady, rivers, eli, ryan and brees in the last 10 years. and that's with the league cracking down on QB hits. go back a little bit and you can also toss in the broken wrist in college.

I'd say this year's injury is a compounding of coming back too early from last years.

I don't think you would yield Ramsey and something else from JAX, certainly not a 1st rd pick. Foles hasn't risen to that level imo, but straight up for Ramsey or Ramsey + a 4th rd maybe you have a deal.
