Well there might be some interesting prop bets for the game against Florida next week.

Over/Under on which quarter the Gators pull their starters - 2nd Quarter
Over/Under total points scored by Florida defense - 15
Over/Under on which quarter the team gives up on Petrino - 3rd Quarter
  1. Under... If they even start their full 53 starters I'd be amazed.
  2. Over... 3 TDs is very achievable. Even for their backups & freshmen.
  3. Over... He can do no wrong.

Forgot about this. I'm bored so I looked up the answers.

1. Push. Backups came in at the end of the 2nd.
2. Under. 12 points on two Mason pick 6's.
3. They actually didn't give up. Surprisingly. Starters played the entire game and actually put up a TD against Florida's fourth string with like 2 mins left.

Thought for sure after the Potato Bowl win with Akey that this team was going to be decent year in and year out like Wyoming started to be with Bohl. Sad to see the drop down and dismal performance in the Big Sky.

Potato Bowl win was Petrino's team. H-Bowl was Akey.

I was expecting a bad team this year, but not quite this level of bad. Tons of position coaches jumped ship before the season, no good QB options, players transferred away, etc.

Everybody working in the U of I admin and athletic department pretty much just thought they'd drop down and win without having to put in much effort. There was no real plan put in place because the decision was made without doing any real research or considering the consequences.

It was basically a re-telling of that classic Johnny Knoxville movie "The Ringer".

You have someone who used to be good at a sport 30 years ago decide that they can go compete against retards and easily win. Problem is if you don't prepare and go into the competition while out of shape and cocky you're going to still lose to those retards. And that just makes you the biggest retard.

That is some spot on analysis. Petrino getting fired yet? I mean Idaho could probably find better elsewhere.

They could certainly pay somebody about a quarter of what Petrino makes for similar results. He makes top 5 FCS coach money. They can't afford to buy him out right now as far as I know. He's here for at least two more years if he wants it. Might jump ship after next year since that's when his son graduates.
