Well Eric Reid messed with the NFLs money, they had people burn jerseys over kneeling, they used the NFLs platform to create a media storm that made the NFL look bad when the NFL had nothing to do with any of the injustices that took place. The NFL wanted to make a large donation to the black community, players said no, they offered to make an awareness month out of this, the players said no, they came to terms with Malcom Jenkins to help stop the kneeling, now he is branded a traitor by his teammates.

The NFL doesn't like Reid or Kaepnernick or anybody that helped create that mess. They have a target on him and they are hoping he pops hot and if he does they plan on making him look like a villain.

I get that the high and mighty in their ivory towers were pissed at this guy for the embarrassment but this is pretty fucking low on their part. It just looks petty and they really don't need this type of publicity. Especially when they have a worse PR problem with the Foster and Hunt situations. I think this just makes the league look bad.

Actually, it's the kind of thing you would expect to happen randomly. Random generates long streaks all the time.

It may be a low chance to happen to 1 specific person individually, however across many sample sizes it's not so crazy. I have no idea how many sample sizes that is, and I have no idea if he was targeted randomly or not. I'm just saying that as far as random goes, the more streaky it is the more likely it's random.

Humans are terrible at recognizing and generating patterns that are actually random.

What's the problem here? Random doesn't mean once in awhile. It means at any time. Random could mean every day. The NFL can drug test anyone any time they want. It's their company.
