Sucks but not shocking. He is injury prone and I worry that if he can't overcome the injury issues his second contract won't be with the Packers.

I will say though, Jamaal Williams played well Sunday. 97 total yards and a TD against that defense.

Now the question I have is who the heck else is gonna play RB?

Carson and Jones both on IR. So there's Williams and Kapri Bibbs on the roster with Vitale at FB. Might be seeing Cobb playing RB at some point the next 2 weeks.

Maybe go with Marcedes Lewis in the backfield to help block...

I feel like they've kinda given up on him, not much left in the tank...

I'm assuming that's the reason Vitale is on the roster when they could've just kept Ripkowski.

I didn’t know he was injury prone. This was the first time I heard him on the injury report. I want see him back next year. He’s the first RB GB has had in a long long time that actually has vision and finds holes when others close up.

Had the knee issue last year, maybe that's why he wasn't used as much early this year as we would have liked.

He will be here next year and hopefully beyond. Just seems like he gets dinged up due to his play style.

Spriggs is out. I don’t understand how this guy is still in the league. GB desperately needs an Oline that can AR more than half a second to get rid of the ball.

Jamaal Williams the last 2 weeks has looked like a complete NFL back.

He's a decent blocker, doesn't fumble, good receiver. He did a good job finding holes today as well.

Oh yeah and he's available when called upon.

Lindsley and Bakhtiari can stay obviously, but the rest of them will continue to be a revolving door IMO until they hit on some draft picks.

I'd like to see Bell back. I like Lane Taylor, McCray and Patrick are depth guys.

If I never have to see Bulaga again I won't complain.

And yeah, Spriggs is terrible, especially considering TT wasted a 2nd rounder on him.

I wish I knew. He's developing nicely though. Not as exciting as Jones but I think this roster is wide open outside of certain guys next year and Williams is earning his spot.

I believe they misused both of those guys. It seems everyone is in love with Jones because he's got good wiggle, but it seems to me that Williams has more pop on inside runs, or is a bit more decisive. I think going a little bit more traditional with them, Williams as the early down back and Jones as the 3rd down or longer down/distance back would better utilize both their talents. I also believe Williams came into the season a little banged up from preseason and it didn't help him that Jones started the season suspended.

My opinion doesn't mean shit in this case, once they bring in their new coaches and their systems, these guys could be on the street, or moved to defense or who the hell knows what they'll be...
